Reese Witherspoon’s Wedding Dress: Pretty and Pink!

Pink is a GREAT idea for a second wedding!! Reese looks so happy. Love, love, love her!!!!!

I love her dress! That soft pink color is gorgeous and flattering. A perfect choice in my opinion.

Of course she looks gorgeous, but couldn’t she have done something with her hair?

I think pink is a nice choice for a second wedding, but her hair looks too casual for a wedding look. She looks quite a bit like Carrie Underwood in the picture.

I think Reese’s wedding gown is beautiful. I’ve often thought that if I ever get married again I would also love to wear a pale pink dress. I wish her all the luck she so deserves and hope her marriage lasts forever.

I think the whole look is beautiful! She looks comfortable, and glowingly happy. Her hair looks lovely too. It’s soft, like the dress, and down to earth like her, and the feel she created for her wedding and reception. What is most important is feeling beautiful, not the ‘rules’ of bridal hair, but how the bride feels on her special day.

I may be old school, but white is supposed to be for a first time bride. Reece did not break tradition by wearing a color, it was the thing you should do. She looked amazing and I wish her and her husband the best.

I jut got the newest issue of Us Magazine (don’t worry, People, you’re next, the newest issue’s just not at my Safeway yet), and the editor of Brides.com criticized Reese for wearing a veil. This is b.s. Apparently this woman doesn’t know that today, brides can wear whatever they want – despite being an editor of a bridal magazine site. And I find it refreshing when a second-time bride wears a veil at a time when many first-time brides do not. Maybe she criticized Shania Twain for wearing a veil at her second wedding.

Seriously, folks, when are we gonna do away with all these silly “rules” about weddings, and just let the couple enjoy themselves? People should have the kind of weddings they want, without someone like this so-called editor criticizing them. I just turned 50, and I may marry my long-term boyfriend sometime, and if I do, I’m going to wear a full-blown white gown, with a train and veil so long they’re both out the back door. People will yap about it, but, whatever. They’re not the ones walking down that aisle and making that all-important promise. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Ms. Editor.

I vote all second (or third etc…) should wear something besides white. White is for first-timers only. Great choice! Finally somebody gets it right!

I had a blush dress when I got married!(First and hopefully only) It was perfect and so beautiful. Nobody expected it and I got raves for it. My former classmates, were like “Of course you got married in pink!”

I wore pink at my first (and only) wedding 18 1/2 years ago.. light satin pink with peachy undertones, seed pears and crystals. beautiful. Not every bride looks good in white.. and I think pink (light not shocking) is a beautiful way to say I do.

The author of the article has it wrong. The brides dress never matches a bridesmaid’s dress. It’s the other way around. The bride’s dress is the most important, it’s never #2 to a bridesmaid’s dress, EVER!

The article could have stated, for example: “….blush-hued gown with a Chantilly lace corset bodice…and….full skirt.
Reese’s daughter, Ava, wore a matching custom Lhuillier gown”.

I think they look beautiful and what they are wearing [all of the wedding party] look very happy and stunning!
