Jena Malone Bares Her Midriff: Love It or Hate It?

Jena Malone Sucker Punch Premiere
Albert L. Ortega/PictureGroup

Talk about fab abs! Sucker Punch star Jena Malone dared to bare her toned tummy Wednesday night at the movie’s big premiere in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old actress, known for her work with Julia Roberts in Stepmom, paired her sweet black top with a pale pink mermaid skirt, finishing the look with strappy black sandals and a black clutch. Up top, she rocked a super-blunt bob, softened by iridescent light green eyeshadow and pale pink lips. We applaud the actress’s gusto — this is a movie about girl power, after all! — but we want to know what you think. Tell us: What do you think of Malone’s look?

Space Invasion! See Katy Perry’s Otherworldly ‘E.T.’ Makeup

We’ve always loved Katy Perry‘s willingness to take her look to the extreme, whether she’s dressed for a Christmas-themed concert, flashing her crazy nails or going all-out glam for a magazine cover. But her most recent beauty transformation is seriously out of this world. The singer posted photos to her Facebook page Wednesday that flaunt the alien-esque makeup she’s wearing in the video for her latest single, “E.T.” The slow-burning song, which features Kanye West, has lyrics like, “Boy you’re an alien,” and “Lead me into the light,” so it makes sense her look is, well, extraterrestrial: Perry has an ethereal pink glow, and sports dramatically dark lips and piercing turquoise contacts, plus a series of bright braids. The singer also linked to a YouTube page, where curious alien wannabes can learn to imitate the look. The “E.T.” video premieres Thursday, March 31. Katie Holmes Cheats on Her Stylist in John Frieda Short Film

The mystery has been solved: Katie Holmes was cheating on her hair stylist! Well, in a movie, that is. Tuesday night, the actress revealed The Decision, a short film she shot for John Frieda’s new Precision Foam Colour, which was teased online last week. In the four-minute flick, Holmes plays Joan Hudson, an American movie star who’s gone missing, and reportedly split from her colorist beau. As she tries to flee by airplane, she’s stopped by security, and when her bag is searched, boxes of the foam are found. John Frieda stylist Harry Josh, who coiffed Holmes’s hair for the movie and Tuesday’s premiere, says the actress was excited to do the promotion. “She said it was a really fun project,” he told PEOPLE. “She told me she was attracted to the whole short-film concept.” For The Decision, Josh said he “structured” her hair. “It was very dramatic … very clean,” he explained. So for the premiere, held at New York City club Lavo, he took it to the other extreme. “We did something incredibly soft, loose, natural and totally easy. We wanted it casual, just to throw the whole thing off.” Tricky! Learn more about The Decision at facebook.com/whatsinthebag. –Reporting by K.C. Baker
