Ginnifer Goodwin ‘Legalizes’ Her Hair

Ginnifer Goodwin takes her short hair seriously. So seriously, in fact, that she’s made it a legal issue. The actress tells InStyle she was tired of getting permission from studios in order to chop her locks (just like Emma Watson), so she consulted with her lawyer. “I now have a wig clause written into every one of my contracts,” she says, explaining that she can cut her hair whenever — and however — she likes. So when she recently decided to go for an even shorter look, complete with shaved sides, it wasn’t hesitation holding her back — it was her bosses. “It didn’t take any courage,” Goodwin says of her cutting her hair. “It purely took getting permission from HBO and the folks behind Big Love. They owned every hair on my head!” But just because Goodwin sports a shorter do doesn’t mean she’ll be limited in the roles she can play — she’ll just slip on a wig instead. “I find it hard to express myself when I’m growing out a very bad character haircut,” she explains. “As long as I can wear a wig, I can be any character and in real life I can be myself.” –Kim Peiffer

Armani’s love affair with Megan Fox continues. Days after releasing a super-sexy video of the star for Emporio Armani underwear and Armani jeans, the company announced she’s also the new face of their fragrance, Code, according to InStyle. Hot mama alert! Miranda Kerr surprised the audience at Thursday’s Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week, walking the runway just two months after giving birth. The 27-year-old Aussie, who welcomed son Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom on Jan. 6, modeled in Balenciaga’s Paris show for the fourth year in a row, presenting to a crowd that included her proud husband, his mom Sonia and Vogue editor Anna Wintour (baby Flynn arrived in Paris with the family the day before). Kerr posted some backstage shots on her blog Thursday, sharing pictures of her look — a black draped dress with leather details — and a last-minute makeup touch-up. Rumer Willis: I Raid My Mom’s Closet

Badgley Mischka’s newest face, 22-year-old Rumer Willis, is no stranger to the fashion world. As the daughter of the ever-well-dressed Demi Moore, she’s learned her share of style tips — “Always trust your gut instinct,” she says — and has worn some pretty fabulous dresses, courtesy of mom. “I’ve definitely raided her closet quite a bit,” she told PEOPLE Wednesday at the opening of Badgley Mischka’s Rodeo Drive flagship in Beverly Hills. “But the problem is when my sisters raid my closet and my stuff disappears.” Willis, whose stunning ads were recently revealed, makes the perfect face for the company, designer Mark Badgley told PEOPLE. “She’s very real, she’s got great style and she knows what she likes to wear and what she doesn’t.” Design partner James Mischka agrees, adding, “We are trying to find the next generation of Hollywood royalty, and she’s obviously that.” From Willis’s end, the love is mutual. “Their stuff is elegant and glamorous, and I think every woman loves to have that feeling once in awhile,” she said. And perhaps her newfound fashion friends are even influencing her career path a bit. “Watching two people so involved in the whole [design] process is inspiring,” she shared. “Especially if I at some point did something like this.” –Michelle Ward
