Reese Witherspoon is once again using her sense of style to help others. The newly-engaged actress is working to fight violence against women — in a fashion-friendly way — by launching the Avon Women’s Empowerment Bracelet in honor of the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day (today). The stretch bracelet features assorted faux-stone, glass and silvertone beads with an “infinity” charm, representing the unlimited opportunities for women when they live violence-free lives. “The Avon Empowerment Bracelet is a simple, but powerful, way to raise funds to reduce violence against women,” said the actress, who serves as the beauty brand’s global ambassador, in a statement. “As a woman and as a mother, I urge you to join me on this very special anniversary of International Women’s Day to end this epidemic by wearing and giving the bracelet to friends and family.” The new bauble, part of the Avon Women’s Empowerment product collection, can be purchased for $10 at avon.com with 100 percent of net profits benefiting Avon Foundation for Women programs. –Kim Peiffer

Fashion Faceoff: Liv Tyler vs. Kanye West

Talk about things getting wild and wooly! It was a real life faceoff at the Givenchy ready-to-wear in Paris on Sunday, when Liv Tyler and Kanye West both showed up sporting the same black sweater from the men’s line, emblazoned with a ferocious dog with bared teeth. Tyler dressed her look up with tights, a tuxedo jacket, leather clutch and heels, while West topped his outfit off with shades, a nylon coat, leather pants and boots. Both stars kept their looks monochromatic — maybe they coordinated ahead of time? — and took their seats at the show without drama. Tell us: Who worked the sweater better? –Kate Hogan

Granny panties and corsets? Not in Bethenny Frankel’s closet! The reality star is making undergarments sexy with her line of problem-solving shapewear for her growing Skinnygirl brand. According to WWD, the collection of tummy-smoothing and bulge-concealing shapewear will include sleek, seamless-looking camis, tanks, half-slips, high-waisted briefs and leggings, all with sexy designs and lace detailing. “The line ranges from tank tops in black or beige to my signature color, red, which is a confidence color, and a little daring, but not white because it can make anyone look bigger,” Frankel tells WWD of the collection, which will go head to head with Real Housewives of New York frenemy Jill Zarin’s line of figure fixers Squeez. But Frankel’s collection includes much more than just panty-smoothing pieces: look for what she calls “lazy lingerie” and a sexy apron with a bra, which she claims is “a fun item with a little skirt you might wear for Valentine’s Day to wake up … and fix your husband breakfast in.” Items will sell for $20-$40 and be available mid-March on Skinnygirlshapers.comTell us: Would you buy Frankel’s shapewear? –Kim Peiffer

Blake Lively’s Très Belle Chanel Mademoiselle Ad Released

Mon Dieu! Chanel’s newest face, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, is a (double!) vision in her new advertisement for the brand’s Mademoiselle handbags, released Monday. Shot by Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld in the company’s Parisian headquarters, the photos are the first in a series that will appear in April magazines. Lively’s new role was announced in January, when Lagerfeld called her “kind of an American dream girl.” The actress was humbled, saying the opportunity to front the campaign was more than a “dream come true.” After the photo shoot, an in-awe Lively whipped out her cell phone and shot her own picture — this one of Lagerfeld behind the lens, reports WWD. “I have such a respect for fashion and such an appreciation for it that if there are people like Karl Lagerfeld out there designing, who am I?” she told the publication. “I want to bow down to them and be a representative for them if they’ll have me.” Seems that adoration has paid off! Tell us: What do you think of Lively’s first Chanel photo? –Kate Hogan
