If you haven’t yet donated to the relief efforts in Japan, it’s not too late. In addition to the myriad of items for sale benefiting the victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, two new T-shirts have hit the market — and both have a celebrity twist. Actor Josh Duhamel partnered with tokidoki creative director Simone Legno to promote this charming tee, which depicts a girl helping an injured pal. The shirts, $25 each, were originally sold in conjunction with Duhamel’s Youth Run 4 Japan, and already, more than 4,500 have been purchased, resulting in a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund. (The Hilton sisters, Glee‘s Dianna Agron and Duhamel’s wife, Fergie, rocked them during a run in L.A. last weekend.) In addition, skater Johnny Weir just released his own shirt, designed with Tadashi Shoji. The $25 tee features words like ‘prayers,’ ‘believe,’ ‘family,’ ‘unity’ and ‘hope,’ melded into a heart in the center of the Japanese flag. All proceeds will benefit the Japanese Red Cross Society. And while she didn’t make the T-shirt herself, we spotted always-stylish actress Malin Akerman in yet another T-shirt to raise money for Japan, this one from the Gap, which has produced three special edition Japan Relief T-Shirts and will be donating all profits from the sale of the tees to GlobalGiving’s Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fund. Learn about more ways to help here, and visit to donate directly.
