Lily Allen Expands Her Clothing Collection

British singer Lily Allen put her music career on hold last year to open a vintage store in London, Lucy in Disguise, with sister Sarah Owen. Now, the designing duo is expanding their fashion dream, creating an 18-piece collection of vintage-inspired designs for pre-fall. According to WWD, Allen says the line is inspired by the idea of the fictional Lucy, “a time-traveling fashionista who’s inviting you to explore her wardrobe … It’s a great opportunity to play with the character.” The collection will feature looks like a 1940s-style rayon crepe tea dress with a lily of the valley print, a lawn green high-waisted maxidress embroidered with matte gold sequins, and Capone, a black sequined and beaded tulle flapper-esque dress (plus an ethereal purple-and-peach gown, pictured). The collection, priced from $175-$630, will be available on and in June. Tell us: What do you think of Allen’s expanded fashion collection? –Kim Peiffer
