Looking for the perfect spring pocketbook? StyleFind has it in the bag. The shopping site polled some of the country’s top stylists, asking for their thoughts on the must-have purses of 2011. Rachel Zoe protégé Brad Goreski chose the Louis Vuitton “Alma Nomade” satchel (above, $3,100) — “the color … is absolute perfection,” he says — plus a summery white Bottega Veneta fringe tote. Meanwhile, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, who design the denim line Current/Elliott and style stars like Mandy Moore, went the colorful route, praising Jil Sander’s yellow leather “Market” tote (above, $895) and Proenza Schouler’s cross-body bag (above). “It’s a statement bag with charm and personality,” they explain of the latter. Conversely, Nicole Chavez, who’s dressed Rachel Bilson and Scarlett Johansson, is all about Celine’s dark and edgy zip-around shoulder bag (above). “It will never go out of style,” she shares. The Alma bag, is a classic, that takes me anywhere. Great everyday bag that opens wide, so I can reach my things and keep it organized!

Looks great with jeans or with business attire.

I love it in the Nomade leather, but it’s a little pricey and my kids could ruin it at the speed of light!

I like this bag, just as much, in the LV Monogram Canvas ($1,160+, depending on the size) & the Monogram Canvas is hard to kill!!

The Monogram Vernis (a shiny stamped leather), is another great choice for this bag, and also less in price. Love the Blue Infini (Dark Navy)).

This is a classic that I have worn out. I want to replace it and will probably go with another Monogram Canvas. Fits my needs, looks great and I don’t have to worry if I happen to find a juice box or a family of gummy bears living at the bottom of my bag!!

SIDE NOTE: “JUST AN OPINION” — IF YOU ARE EVER TEMPTED BY A “FAKE” BAG, THINK IT OVER, IT’S ILLEGAL BUSINESS THAT HELPS PROPAGATE CRIME. NOTHING MATCHES THE WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY OF AN ORIGINAL, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO GET IT 2ND HAND, AT A CONSIGNMENT STORE. I WOULD RATHER GET A REAL BAG FROM TARGET THAN A FAKE “ANYTHING” FROM THE TRUNK OF A CAR.
