Johnny Depp Recognized for His Hip Headwear

A tip of the hat to Johnny Depp, who was just named Hat Person of the Year by the Headwear Association. The actor, who’s worn his signature fedora again, and again, and again, beat out other cap-wearing celebs like Gwen Stefani, Hugh Jackman, Justin Timberlake, Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie to take the title, which was determined in an online vote. Depp follows in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Brad Pitt, who won for his habit of sporting newsboy caps and fedoras. Perhaps rubbing shoulders with Angelina Jolie — Depp’s costar in The Tourist — has something to do with earning the crown? Tell us: Do you like Depp’s Fedora-topped look?
