Diane von Furstenberg is ‘Proud to Be Woman’
Her iconic wrap dresses reinvented women’s wardrobes, so it’s no surprise that Diane von Furstenberg is helping celebrate International Women’s Day with fashion as well. For the second-annual holiday on March 8, the designer is selling limited-edition tees ($28) and totes ($35), emblazoned with a “Proud to Be Woman” graphic print, the sales of which will benefit Vital Voices, a non-profit that empowers women globally. In addition, von Furstenberg is releasing an exclusive 12-track mix with songs from powerful female artists like Madonna, Robyn, Katy Perry and Florence + The Machine.
