Kylie Minogue to Tour in Dolce & Gabbana Costumes

High notes meet high fashion! Dolce & Gabbana has created the stage wardrobe for Brit pop superstar Kylie Minogue on her “Les Folies Tour,” which kicked off Feb. 19 in Denmark before starting on a world tour. While her last set of tour costumes was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, this is actually the third time the haute Italian design duo has teamed up with Minogue to create tour costumes; for this show, they used a corset as the base to reinterpret some of their most classic looks for the star. “We’ve revisited iconic Dolce & Gabbana pieces, adapting them to the themes of the tour,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in a statement. “Working with Kylie has always been very spontaneous and easy. We are given free reign to create because she trusts that we know exactly what she likes. Kylie has always been our piccola principessa!” A sneak peek at one costume (left) appears to be inspired by the title of her last album, Aphrodite. Tell us: Are you excited to see more of the collaboration between Dolce & Gabbana and Kylie Minogue?

Less than two weeks after Justin Bieber faked out fans by pretending to shave his head on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Biebs put his hair on the chopping block again — and this time it was for real. “Yeah so it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it,” Bieber tweeted about his shorter cut, which he cropped while on the set of his new music video with Rascal Flatts, whose bass player Jay DeMarcus (left) shared the photo on his Twitter. But Bieber, who’d already been inching his swoon-inducing swoosh shorter with micro-trims, didn’t make the big cut for vanity alone. “We are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction,” Bieber tweeted. “Details coming soon.” Tell us: what do you think of Justin Bieber’s new shorter ‘do? –Kim Peiffer

Dita Von Teese Working on a Fragrancel
Landov

It looks like Dita Von Teese is testing her skills as a perfumer–but don’t expect the burlesque queen to be involved in creating something sweet. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!!,” the star Tweeted Thursday while spending time at a chateau in the French countryside working with perfumers. Instead, it’s all about “Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!” And while fruity-floral concoctions might not make the cut for the star, just what does she love in a scent? “I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.” Does this mean that Dita is developing her own signature scent like so many other stars, or is she merely dabbling for herself? Only time will tell…. Tell us: Would you want a buy a fragrance from Dita if she created one?

Vera Wang Launches Affordable Bridal Line for David’s Bridal

Vera Wang Creates Line for David's Bridal

Famous brides from Ivanka Trump to Chelsea Clinton to Alicia Keys have all worn Vera Wang’s dreamy and decadent wedding dresses, but for most brides-to-be, her couture-level creations come with a price tag that is out of reach — until now. The venerable designer has created a 12-style collection, available exclusively at David’s Bridal, that retails for only $600-$1,400! Wang stressed the importance of keeping her signature silhouettes and attention to detail in the line as well as a certain joie de vivre, explaining that her goal is “to make something that’s romantic and sensual but youthful and whimsical.” And for their part, David’s Bridal is thrilled to have Vera Wang on board, calling her the “Queen of Bridal,” and someone who will appeal to a “smarter, more sophisticated customer.” And in person, the designs are everything you’d expect from Wang — swirling ruffles, flattering necklines and an intense focus on details that will ensure the kind of wedding photos that all brides dream of. While the collection is gradually rolling into all David’s Bridal stores throughout the country, it is currently available at a select 150 stores. Brides can, however, order their desired Vera Wang gown from any branch. See all the styles on davidsbridal.com.

Tips & Tricks: The Secret to Olivia Palermo’s Gleaming Highlights

Olivia Palermo Hair Tips

Gorgeous highlights like Olivia Palermo’s aren’t about changing your hair color, but rather capitalizing on your hair’s natural beauty. Stylist to the stars, Roy Teeluck tells PEOPLE that what differentiates the good from the bad in terms of treated tresses is a “less is more” approach. “My salon specializes in the Balayage technique, which is easier to maintain,” he tells us, referring to a method of hand painting highlights instead of using traditional foil. Pointing to Natalie Portman and Alexa Chung as those he thinks get the look right, Teeluck says brightening with tones that don’t vary too drastically from your natural color is “healthier for your hair, and can be customized to your desired look.” Regarding Palermo’s perfectly polished look, he says his senior stylist Michele Fury (who works on the former City star) considers many factors before adding depth with color. “Her natural skin tone and hair pigment determine the best shade for her,” which varies from warmed-up ends to coppery inflections, but never includes brassy blonde. As for achieving the look at home? “Balayage is a very specific art form for hair color and for the most part, you are best served consulting with a professional.” –Justine Harman
