Vera Wang Launches Affordable Bridal Line for David’s Bridal

Famous brides from Ivanka Trump to Chelsea Clinton to Alicia Keys have all worn Vera Wang’s dreamy and decadent wedding dresses, but for most brides-to-be, her couture-level creations come with a price tag that is out of reach — until now. The venerable designer has created a 12-style collection, available exclusively at David’s Bridal, that retails for only $600-$1,400! Wang stressed the importance of keeping her signature silhouettes and attention to detail in the line as well as a certain joie de vivre, explaining that her goal is “to make something that’s romantic and sensual but youthful and whimsical.” And for their part, David’s Bridal is thrilled to have Vera Wang on board, calling her the “Queen of Bridal,” and someone who will appeal to a “smarter, more sophisticated customer.” And in person, the designs are everything you’d expect from Wang — swirling ruffles, flattering necklines and an intense focus on details that will ensure the kind of wedding photos that all brides dream of. While the collection is gradually rolling into all David’s Bridal stores throughout the country, it is currently available at a select 150 stores.
