Super-sheer fabrics, plunging necklines, micro-minis—we’ve seen all sorts of barely-there pieces pop up on daring celebs! And Fergie, no stranger to bold looks, added a new one to her eclectic, rocker mix while vacationing in St. Barts over the New Year’s holiday: a T-shirt filled with holes! A tropical getaway might make the most sense for such a revealing shirt, but we wonder—is it too over the top, even for a tropical island? Or is it a cool, artsy take on a white T-shirt? Natalie Portman might be known for her effortless red carpet flair–but when it comes to bump style, the first-time mom-to-be has discovered that there are new issues she has to contend with. One major Academy Awards fashion consideration? “Leaving space for growth,” the Best Actress nominee told PEOPLE at an Oscar Nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills on February 7th. But the star, who wore a teal Lanvin dress with pink satin pumps to the event, isn’t going it alone, and has her own master stylist hard at work searching for the perfect pregnancy ensembles. Back-to-blonde beauty Julianne Hough made a name for herself tearing up the Dancing with the Stars dancefloor in high-drama looks, but when the two-time winner is off duty she’s happy to leave the stage makeup behind. “I used to compete in that world where it’s like heavy, heavy, heavy makeup that doesn’t even look blended in it’s just so thick and so tan–that’s the way I grew up,” the Proactiv face told PEOPLE at an event for the brand in New York last week. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve actually worn less makeup. I’ve been trying to be a lot less va-va-voom.” And feeling comfortable in her skin, she’s found, is a reflection of how she feels inside. “When I feel my best I’ll wear no makeup whatsoever and feel fantastic,” she says. Julianne is bringing her fresh-faced philosophy to the big screen in her upcoming acting role. “You’ll see in Footloose, I don’t have any makeup on basically,” she says. “I have [on] mascara–just a little bit–and concealer, and this little bit of creamy highlighter on my cheeks, and that’s it!” – Hana Choi; reporting by Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

First Look: Forever 21′s New Designer Collections

Following a much buzzed-about graphic T-shirt collection by Brian Lichtenberg last fall, Forever 21 is continuing down the fashionable designer pathway with two new clothing collaborations for spring, according to WWD. First up is the Petro Zillia collection, a line brightly-colored tops, skirts and dresses inspired by vintage fashion and one-of-kind patchwork, which debuts in stores on Friday — but we’ve already spotted Paris Hilton wearing one of the dresses! The second collection, by Rory Beca, will be unveiled in stores on March 4 and will include signature caftans and flirty dresses.  The Petro Zillia and Rory Beca collections for Forever 21 will be priced from $5.80 to $32.80. In new images for Band of Outsiders, designer Scott Sternberg has released Kirsten Dunst and James Marsden into the wild—of L.A. that is! In the spring 2011 look book, shot by Sternberg himself, Dunst and Marsden take a ride down the rabbit hole in a series of eccentric images. Posing as a posh hotel patron, a retro poolboy and the sexiest janitor we’ve ever seen, Marsden picks up where last year’s moody fall 2010 images, starring Andrew Garfield, left off. Dunst also tries out new careers in the shots, ditching the red carpet for the swampy marshes of the Huntington Botanical Garden where she is snapped as a botanist, a wildlife inspector and a playful elephant tamer. All the while, they are outfitted in trademark prepster-with-an-edge offerings from Band of Outsiders and Boy. by Band of Outsiders, which is for girls. Confused yet? Check out the rest of the candids starring Marsden and Dunst to feast your eyes on this season’s chinos, blazers and flimsy summer dresses.
