Adrienne Maloof is a “real housewife” with a very real shoe collection. And she’s about to put her footwear knowledge to use and dip her toe into the shoe business. I think most women love shoes. A beautiful pair is shoes looks gorgeous on any woman.” Maloof is in Las Vegas this week for the MAGIC fashion convention, meeting with with potential buyers and potential partners — though several people have already told her they want to partner with her for the line. “I want to make sure that everything is done organically, correctly,” she said. “So if that means I need to take my time, I’m into doing everything the right way. That’s important to me.” Tell us: Would you buy shoes from Adrienne? –Mark Gray

Ally Hilfiger’s Behind-the-Scenes Fashion Week Diary

Have you ever wondered what New York Fashion Week is really like behind the glitz and glamour of the front row? PEOPLE checked in with one of fashion week’s newest faces: Tommy Hilfiger’s 25-year-old daughter, Ally, who along with designer Nary Manivong, presented her freshman collection, NAHM on Friday. “I woke up, got on my knees and prayed,” she admits, with only two days remaining before the show. In this exclusive candid of the designers consulting with stylist Lester Garcia, Ally explains, “It’s really busy but it doesn’t feel like work.” However, no task is too small for the budding designer, who spends the day before the show shopping for backstage eats at Trader Joe’s and sending thank you notes. On the big day, Ally is a bundle of nerves, arriving at Milk Studios at 6 am before helping set up and meeting with hair and make-up. The resulting presentation, a semicircle of models clad in the collection’s inventive iterations of the shirtdress, is a testament to hard work paying off. The garments are simple with chic accents including pleats, sheer sleeves and off-kilter buttons. So what does a designer do after her first successful showing at NYFW? “This afternoon I’m planning on taking a nice long nap.”—Justine Harman

Khloe and Lamar Create ‘a Genuine Aphrodisiac’ Scent

Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom couldn’t be more in love with their debut fragrance — but the end product didn’t come about without a little friendly banter. “It took us nine months of disagreements before we finally agreed on the right scent for Unbreakable,” Kardashian tells PEOPLE at a launch event for the unisex scent at a Perfumania store in Orlando on Saturday. Adds Odom: “It was hard to come to an agreement because we wanted to be able to live in this scent.” The duo finally found their magic elixir, which mixes notes like dark chocolate, nutmeg, cedarwood, sandalwood and jasmine — plus a touch of vanilla. “Unbreakable does come on strong. It is a genuine aphrodisiac that both men and women can relate to,” says Khloé, revealing that she sprays their sheets with it before they go to bed. The couple aren’t the only ones loving the scent. Basketball star Odom says that he shared Unbreakable with his Lakers teammates while Kardashian asked some of her girlfriends to test it out. According to the couple, the response was a slam dunk. “Even metrosexuals like my brother Rob like it,” Kardashian laughs. Unbreakable for Women and Men by Khloé and Lamar is available for $42 for a 3.4-oz. spray at perfumania.com. –Linda Marx

Colin Firth’s Wife, Livia, Brings Eco-Couture to the Red Carpet

Colin Firth's Wife's Eco-Friendly Dresses

While Colin Firth struts up every red carpet event in the run-up to the Oscars, where he is nominated for Best Actor in the acclaimed film The King’s Speech, his wife Livia Firth is embarking on a Green Carpet Challenge. Taking advantage of the fact that she’ll often be photographed by her husband’s side, Firth decided to bring eco-couture to the red carpet by wearing designers who care about environmental and social justice causes. Firth said she wanted to capitalize on the spotlight by using “this as an opportunity to promote sustainable style and ethical fashion, because these are the things I care about,” she tells the British Observer Magazine this past Sunday. It’s a cause close to Livia’s heart since she owns an eco-retail store in West London. Some of her dresses have even been made from recyclable materials. Last year, Firth wore a black dress to the Oscars designed by Orsola de Castro, which was made of materials retrieved from the dumpsters of fashion houses. For this year’s Golden Globe awards, her dress was dyed by homegrown indigo plants from designer Jeff Garner’s community garden in Tennessee. “I really hope we can convince some big names to sign up and start wearing ethical designers. It can be a little lonely out there. For the moment, they’ll have to put up with me,” said Firth. – Helen I. Hwang

Kellie Pickler’s Hair Transformation: Country Curls to City Sleek

Kellie Pickler might just be country music’s ultimate glamour girl, relying as much on her head of high-volume locks as baubles and bling when she hits the red carpet — but when it comes to her hair, could the singer be changing her tune? At the Country Music Awards in Nashville last November, the nominee played up her sparkling Pamella Roland gown with big, bouncy curls. Today, however, she was almost unrecognizable when she hit the Badgley Mischka runway show during New York Fashion Week with a totally sleek (and much longer!) new do paired with her elegantly draped purple dress. We love how Kellie tailors her hair to the occasion so successfully, but we want to know which look you like most. Tell us: Do you prefer Kellie’s country-style curls or sleek city strands?Justine Harman
