Jennifer Aniston has had a not-so-secret love affair with long layers for the past several years — until, that is, she abruptly chopped them off into a shoulder-length bob this week. But this recent hair change-up certainly wasn’t a first for the star, who’s rocked everything from extra-long and straight tresses in 2000 to that ubiquitous ’90s cut dubbed “The Rachel” in honor of her character on Friends. And while the star has since come out in the press calling that particular flippy style, “the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen,” we can’t help but love each of her evolving looks in its own way. I think she should have kept the same color with the new cut…and then changed it up again with this lighter color closer to spring/summer.

I completely agree with Traci! This is a people website. A website dedicated to ENTERTAINMENT! This is not CNN. Of course there are larger issues in the world right now but some of us want a diversion to the misery that exists in this world. I love Jennifer and many other celebrities as a form of diversion from an otherwise mudane life.

To that end – Jennifer needed to change it up but she looks best with the color of the long layers!

I like the long layers look on her but her new hairstyle is actually better for her facial shape. Her chin is quite pointy and the new cut softens her look. I would like to see her tone down her hair though because it’s a little brassy. I think the new cut also is better suited for her age. I think it’s great that she looks after herself and she looks amazing but she needs to be age appropriate.

She is pathetically married to the camera, I guess her kids will be called Sony, Canon and Nikon…Who really cares about this over-exposed and over-rated person, most of her movies flop and she just rides on the coat tails of her x and his beuatiful partner Angelina…..
