Kellie Pickler’s Hair Transformation: Country Curls to City Sleek

Kellie Pickler might just be country music’s ultimate glamour girl, relying as much on her head of high-volume locks as baubles and bling when she hits the red carpet — but when it comes to her hair, could the singer be changing her tune? At the Country Music Awards in Nashville last November, the nominee played up her sparkling Pamella Roland gown with big, bouncy curls. Today, however, she was almost unrecognizable when she hit the Badgley Mischka runway show during New York Fashion Week with a totally sleek (and much longer!) new do paired with her elegantly draped purple dress. We love how Kellie tailors her hair to the occasion so successfully, but we want to know which look you like most. I like the longer straight hair on Kellie mostly because it reminds me of her days on Idol. Kellie can actually rock the long or short hair but for her it usually looks better straightened.
And to address the people that think she’s had work done to her face, no she hasn’t. For some reason it just looks that way when she gets a lot of makeup put on her at major events like this. Look at some pictures when she is simple dressed and has very minimal makeup on for a concert.
