Julia Roberts and Serge Normant have been an awesome twosome for more than 18 years — but despite his skills, the mega-watt stylist isn’t taking credit for her locks. “People got to know her with that big head of hair and beautiful curls. I don’t think I taught her. I think it’s a pretty easy process with her,” a modest Normant told PEOPLE. Creating a similar look, however, is surprisingly simple. “It’s best to wrap one piece one way [around a curling iron] and the next [in the opposite direction]. Mix it up.” To read more styling tips from Julia’s lock star, pick up the current issue of PEOPLE. Have your own hair question for Normant? Send it to reader_questions@peoplemag.com (be sure to include your name and hometown, too) and you could see it featured in an upcoming issue of PEOPLE! –Jackie Fields, with reporting by Pamela Edwards Christiani

I have naturally curly hair. Currently I use a diffuser on my blow dryer, try to keep the hair very moisturized and it seems to do better if I don’t touch it throughout the day. Do you recommend any certain styling tool or hair product to keep nice natural curls without frizz throughout the day?

In May of 05 I saw Julia Roberts on the late show with david letterman sporting an A semetric hair style.Do you know where I can get a picture of her with that style.

I have very fine thinning (on top)hair. It’s cut about an inch below my ear lobes (to my regret, it’s too thin to keep it longer). No matter where I go I can’t get anyone to give me a good style cut. Any suggestions? Please HELP!!
