Khloe Kardashian Dyes Red HairMatt Baron/BEImages

Khloe Kardashian stole the spotlight from her sisters (Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie were all there!) at last night’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, debuting newly dyed red hair that set her apart from her raven-haired siblings. “So far I love it! It’s fun! Different,” Khloe tells PEOPLE. “And I have never been red before so why not?” With a new year and a new show with husband Lamar Odom coming out, the reality star tells PEOPLE that now was the perfect time to try something fresh. “I wanted to stand out for a little bit.” Khloe’s hairstylist Clyde Haygood recruited colorist Julie Canales to transform Khloe’s tresses. “This is the time for Khloe,” says Haygood. “She is starting her own show with her husband, Lamar, and this is separate from Keeping Up [With the Kardashians], so we thought, perfect!” And what does her NBA star husband think of her red-hot hairstyle? “Lamar said for me to go redder — he loves it!” Tell us: What do you think of Khloe as a redhead? Katie Holmes Gets (and Takes!) Fashion Advice from Daughter Suri

Katie Holmes Gets (and Takes!) Fashion Advice from Daughter Suri Courtesy Elle

At age 4, Suri Cruise is already a seasoned fashionista. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter has been spotted in everything from Burberry dresses to silver pumps. And it turns out that she’s not only picking out her own clothes, but she’s not afraid to give her famous parents style pointers. “She’ll really tell me [what she thinks],” Holmes told ELLE.”“Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’ But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom. Wear that.’ She’s got a great eye.” The actress, who co-designs her own clothing line, Holmes & Yang, has obviously passed on her flare for fashion to Suri and the two are often spotted shopping together. “The other day we came out of a store, and she said, ‘I want to go there,’ pointing at another store quite a distance away,” Holmes notes. “In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, ‘Wow, Suri. You’re something. You picked that out from a football field away.’” To read more from Katie’s cover interview, go to elle.com. — Alla Byrne

Spanx, watch your back. Not only has Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin become a successful author and created a bedding line that’s “doing great” at BedBathandBeyond.com, but now the fiery redhead has a new business endeavor that’s set to be huge — in the skinniest way possible! “I have my line Skweez,” a curvy Zarin told PEOPLE at Tuesday night’s N.Y.C. premiere of Season of the Witch, starring Nicolas Cage. “I worked on a body shaper line which every young girl is going to want to wear,” she added. “I made them for young girls and for older women. It’s an alternative to Spanx, and I’m selling them for a lot less money. I started my own company called Skweez Couture and Skweezwear and we’ll have men’s shapewear, too.” Why shapewear? “Right now there is really only one game in town,” answered the ever-savvy Zarin. “I’m hoping to take some of their market share. We already went to major department stores. It’s going to be everywhere.”

Nicole Richie on Her Fashion Obsession and Flea-Market Finds

Nicole Richie LuckyCourtesy Lucky

In a city as devoted to the new and now as Hollywood, it’s entirely possible to blink and miss out on a trend. But for Nicole Richie, a designer who boasts both Winter Kate clothing and House of Harlow 1960 accessories lines, it’s a look to the past that gives her the greatest inspiration. “I really believe that you can’t make a mistake with vintage,” she tells Lucky in its February issue, where she also fesses up to owning 30 vintage Chanel purses. “It’s all in how you wear it.” It’s no surprise then, that the ever-stylish mother of two pulls a lot of her easy looks from the ’60s and ’70s, in the form of antique brooches and silky kimono jackets–perfect accents to her signature daytime uniform of Jet by John Eshaya skinny jeans and Urban Outfitters T-shirts. From The Simple Life reality star to designer-author-philanthropist, the 29-year-old is no stranger to change and evolution – and that ethos easily extends to her wardrobe. “To me, fashion is about fun,” Richie says. “I’ve always experimented. I dyed my hair purple, and I dyed my hair green, and I went through a Punky Brewster phase, a preppy phase, a goth phase, a girly phase, a grunge phase… I”m sure my style won’t stop here.” We have a feeling whatever Nicole’s next chameleon-like move is, it will undoubtedly be a fashionable one. Tell us: What do you think about Nicole Richie’s transformational style? – Hana Choi
