Katie Holmes Is New Face of Ann Taylor

Move over, Heidi KlumKatie Holmes is the newest face of all-American brand Ann Taylor. With Holmes’s spring 2011 ads slated to break in March issues of magazines, Ann Taylor released the first ad image of the actress and designer in a sophisticated all-navy outfit, shot by photographer Tom Munro. In a statement on their website, Holmes says, “I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl. I grew up loving the clothes…and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the Spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in.” The company returns the love with Christine Beauchamp, President of Ann Taylor Stores, saying in a statement, “We are thrilled to have Katie as the face of Ann Taylor. Katie personifies the Ann Taylor brand — smart, talented, incredibly chic, and living a full life with beauty and grace. The moment has finally arrived to see Rumer Willis as the newest face of star-beloved brand Badgley Mischka. Last month we showed you a behind-the-scenes look at Rumer being fit in a glam bedazzled dress with floral appliqués. Now we’ve got the first images of the actress as seen through the lens of famed fashion photographer Tony Duran. The eldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis follows in the footsteps of stars including Eva Longoria, Carrie Underwood and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who have also posed for the iconic brand. “It was so amazing to play on the beach in beautiful and timeless gowns,” Willis enthused about her latest turn in front of the cameras, shot surf-side in Malibu, Calif. “I felt like a princess.” And the love is returned. “Rumer is a great muse for the season,” designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said in a statement. “She has a vivacious spirit to her; she is young and modern, which is representative of our spring collection.” The images, which will feature eveningwear, footwear, jewelry and more from the design duo, are slated to break in March magazines. Gwyneth Paltrow Teams Up with Luxe Watchmaker Baume & Mercier

Watch out, Gwyneth Paltrow‘s got a new project in the works! The multi-talented actress, who most recently sang and danced her way into our hearts guest starring on Glee, is now pairing up with storied Swiss watchmaker Baume & Mercier, reports WWD. As the 180-year-old company’s newest brand ambassador – or “friend of the brand” as the company prefers calling her – Paltrow will engage in “communication projects,” kicking off the SIHH watch fair cocktail party in Geneva later this month, but she won’t be lending her face to any ad campaigns. Despite the company’s Swiss roots, the rebranding strategy includes aligning its new image with the Hamptons, the name of a watch that will relaunch this fall—as well as the tony New York resort town where Paltrow is known to spend time. “Our positioning remains as a brand that offers high-quality products with a beautiful design,” CEO Alain Zimmermann told WWD. Past ambassadors include fellow actresses like Meg Ryan, Kim Basinger, Teri Hatcher and Evangeline Lilly. With a lifestyle maven like Gwyneth at the helm, we have a feeling Baume & Mercier will get the lift it’s looking for in no time! – Hana Choi

Achieving luminous skin may take some work for most of us, but Amanda Seyfried always makes it look totally effortless. And when luxe Japanese skincare line Clé de Peau Beauté tapped the actress as their new spokesperson back in October, we couldn’t wait to see the images! Now, the first round of ads has been released and they do not disappoint. Shot by British photographer David Sims, the campaign features a glowing Seyfried, looking radiant in minimal makeup and flawless skin. Amanda, who started modeling at age 11, is the first celebrity to be touted as the face of the Japanese brand, which comes as no surprise to PEOPLE–after all, she was named one of the Most Beautiful People of 2010. Being the husband of über-celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe definitely has its perks—worldwide travel, attending designer fashion shows, starring on a reality show—but that doesn’t mean Rodger Berman forgets where he stands. “Nothing makes your station in life more clear than when a stranger hands you a camera while he poses with your wife,” he confesses in the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “[I] waltz confidently into fashion shows with Rachel by my side, [but] the VIP treatment usually stops there. Any delusions of grandeur are interrupted by the words ‘Excuse me, sir, you’re in my seat.’” Despite those constant reminders, the investment banker hasn’t let it sour his appreciation for all things fashion. “Thanks to Rachel I can’t leave the house without worrying about whether or not my clothes match. And that’s fine by me,” reveals Berman. “My favorite [designers] are Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg, and Oscar de la Renta because they always offer up beautiful clothes that I can actually imagine Rachel and her clients wearing.” So how does the dad-to-be, whose wife recently announced he was having a boy— expect his newfound fashion sense to affect his first child? “It’s our greatest adventure yet—and I won’t be surprised if our baby has Chanel diapers, Missoni blankets, and an Hermès bassinet,” he joked. “People say he or she is going to be the most fashionable baby ever.
