Gwen Stefani is adding one more accomplishment to her growing list with the announcement to PEOPLE that she’s inked a deal as the next face of L’Oréal Paris. “I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls,” says the star, “I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band.” Of joining the brand’s stable of A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Beyoncé Knowles, Stefani says, “To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky, lucky girl.” Aptly enough for a star who’s made red lips her signature, Gwen’s first campaign will be for the brand’s Infallible Le Rouge lip color. And while she’s offered us a first look at an image from the set of her shoot (above), you’ll be able to catch her full commercial in just a few days, when it debuts during this Sunday’s Golden Globes. Good for her. She is a true beauty. With or with out makeup. Love Gwen!

I really wish these stars would stop promoting companies that test on animals. There are so many alternatives available now that don’t do any harm and their products are amazing.

I had always thought thier might be a makeup line, to coincide with her L.A.M.B line…

Gwen is a perfect lady to be the next face of L’Oréal Paris. She is beautiful and very talented. Congratulations Gwen!! Keep smiling! :) I know what its like to be in the public eye. I am a band promoter and booking agent and have managed a few bands. I really enjoy what I do and look forward to doing alot more in life. Good luck always!

Gwen is a strikingly beautiful woman, so it’s no surprise that she is going to advertising for L’Oreal. Good choice.

I agree with one lady’s statement..that it is a disappointment when celebrities are not more aware of who they are accepting endorcements from when it comes to harming animals.
They are so many alternatives for beauty supplies.

I expected her to do an edgier, less mainstream brand as well! She could take an obscure brand to mainstream. She definitely has the style for it.

L’oreal has a knack for getting all the popular celebs so this doesn’t surprise me though.

I’ve loved her since i first heard and saw her. She’s such an exotic looking woman and trendy and funky and hip. I just think she’s great and love her hubby too he’s yummy. Their both just 2 of Hollywood’s hippest.

BTW Ali let’s see your picture if you thinks she’s unattractive you must be super stunning…hater

R- she is barely in her forties, maybe 41 at most. I don’t know, I think its genetic. I had nary a wrinkle at that age, didn’t notice a line until closer to mid-40s.
And I don’t know how anyone can say she is not beautiful. She is stunning. She actually looks much better natural than with all that makeup on, but I know its her look.
