Katie Holmes Is New Face of Ann Taylor

I prefe Ann Taylor Loft clothing over Ann Taylor. Loft clothes have a fresher, classic feel, where as Ann Taylor clothes tend to look old fashioned. Katie Holmes seems like a nice girl, but a model she is not.

Absolutely stunning. Katie is a gorgeous icon.

Always thought Katie was a pretty girl and happy to see she will be representing a clothing line. However, I have to agree with Jordan – her facial expression is almost an unhappy stunned look? She has a brilliant smile and should use it :)

I agree with others, I think just a hint of a smile (instead of a frown) would have made this photo much more stunning. I ♥ anything Ann Taylor.

She may be the face of Ann Taylor, but honestly, does she even wear their clothes. When you see her she is always paired with other designers, not a store bought label like Ann Taylor.

I certainly will NOT shop at Ann Taylor stores for sure now! Katy Cruise is not an example of an independent and sylish woman.

I take offense to woman telling another woman that
she is tall and gawky. If you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. Put yourself in that position. Do you want someone to say hurtful things about you, Debbie Bush! Kindness goes a LONG way. Katie looks quite beautiful.

Haters and complainers everywhere. What happened to “if you can’t say something nice don’t say it”. Who made any of you negative people the experts on what’s beautiful or not, who deserves it or not, who’s happy or not….who knows what the photographer told her to look like! Yea, you can express your opinion but naysayers on these “forums” get really old. I’ve just got to stop looking at them! :)

Like her..don’t know much about the clothes…but I don’t think I’d call her an Icon…who was she …really…before she married Tom Cruise?? mmhhmm…a B/C list actress. just sayin…not hatin on her…just don’t think she needs to be idolized!! Much prettier, talented people out there that don’t need airbrushing..

I don’t get how Katie Holmes is the new face of Ann Taylor when she is working on her own clothing line that is insanely expensive btw…doesn’t make sense because it is a conflict of interest! I feel she is trying to find her groove again within the Entertainment Industry and it is just not working. Sad really.

While I have been an Ann Taylor fan for many years, I am not a fan of Katie Holmes since she has been married to Tom Cruise. She seems to be robotic, and has lost a sense of her fun and independence. As a professional young woman, I am actually turned off by Katie being the new face of Ann.

This is what Ann Taylor thinks is a model for their stores? She looks very happy in this picture. Would it have killed her to put on a smile?She looks kind of strickened. Would they have picked her if she wasn’t Mrs. Cruise? I don’t think she was the right choice, but hey I’m not a fan of her or her husband. She does nothing for me and all I can say is when I enter Ann Taylor Loft and think of her-out I will go.

She actually looks very nice! The fact that she isn’t smiling really isn’t her fault. If the photographer says “be more serious” or “scowl at the camera” I guess that’s what she has to do. ;)

Katie is a beautiful soul, however I agree with some responses that her facial expression does not sell the clothes she is wearing. When I think of Ann Taylor clothing or AT Loft, I smile. I know when I wear the clothing line, it does not wear me. Sassy and Chic and well groomed is the way the clothes make me feel, this picture is not expressing the line of clothes by Ann Taylor makes a woman feel. Bad Ad!!! I love Katie, when she bought cupcakes locally in Shreveport, I saw the down to earth person she is with style, this Ad does not portray that. She has a million dollar smile, should have used that smile.

I’m sorry .. I just don’t see it .. she doesn’t impress me at all ….

Katie is a fantastic choice. Reserved, understated, yet classy and sophisticated. Perfect.

Not everyone who is tall and attractive makes a good model. She looks awkward and forced; seems they only chose her because of celeb status. Dislike.

Oh… she has let herself go.. she needs to loose 150lbs… divorce Tom and resume being yourself.

I think that being the face a Ann Taylor is a good fit for Katie Holmes. Their clothes are bland and boring just like her personality.

Style icon and model?? I don’t think so… most of the time she looks pretty frumpy and her hair looks a mess. She has a beautiful smile but you don’t se her smiling too much anymore. Rees Witherspoon or Hillary Swank would have been good choices.

The difference I found between Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft is that Loft does not have Petite.

Love clothes but not much budget to have them altered.

I think Katie is beautiful and does personify the Ann Taylor look. Awesome outfit on her. I did think Naomi Watts did a wonderful spread and both women are qualified to represent Ann Taylor.

I worked at Ann Taylor nice clothes but some are too conservative and clients and staff can be snobby. Worked at The Loft too and prefered that.

I love this suit I have been looking for it but none of the Ann Taylors is San Antonio has it yet. I even called up to Houston.. Would to get this one…
