Katie Holmes Is New Face of Ann Taylor

Move over, Heidi Klum — Katie Holmes is the newest face of all-American brand Ann Taylor. With Holmes’s spring 2011 ads slated to break in March issues of magazines, Ann Taylor released the first ad image of the actress and designer in a sophisticated all-navy outfit, shot by photographer Tom Munro. In a statement on their website, Holmes says, “I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl. I grew up loving the clothes…and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the Spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in.” The company returns the love with Christine Beauchamp, President of Ann Taylor Stores, saying in a statement, “We are thrilled to have Katie as the face of Ann Taylor. Katie personifies the Ann Taylor brand — smart, talented, incredibly chic, and living a full life with beauty and grace. I think Katie Holmes as The New Face of Ann Taylor is great, good luck! I like The PHOTO of her! Also, Rooney Mara looks great on The February Issue of W Magazine as Lisbeth Salander from her new Movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and The PHOTO, sorry it hurt when she got holes in her ear fro the piercings, etc.

I take offense to woman telling another woman that
she is tall and gawky. If you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. Put yourself in that position. Do you want someone to say hurtful things about you, Debbie Bush! Kindness goes a LONG way. Katie looks quite beautiful.

i think i may be the only one disappointed in this reveal…she has absolutely no style which is evident in all her recent photos and yet we all have to keep glorifying her for marrying Tom Cruise…am I the only one who recognizes it is not her talent that has kept her around…she would be like all her other no-name creek cast members if she hadn’t married a guy that could be her dad

Haters and complainers everywhere. What happened to “if you can’t say something nice don’t say it”. Who made any of you negative people the experts on what’s beautiful or not, who deserves it or not, who’s happy or not….who knows what the photographer told her to look like! Yea, you can express your opinion but naysayers on these “forums” get really old. I’ve just got to stop looking at them! :)

I agree with Alyssa. The only reason why she married Tom Cruise was because she was failing as an actress. She picks roles in movies that dont suit her personality, she picks old people to marry, to act about and old clothes. Is she trying to be old or what? I dont like her, never go to or watch any of her lame movies.

OH PLEASE – anyone who doesn’t think this picture is stunning and that she looks brilliant is either jealous or smoking something. I don’t think she has the widest range of an actress, but stylish she IS.
