Bye, Bye Blonde! Lauren Conrad Goes Brunette: Love It or Hate It?

What a colorful week it’s been! The same night that Khloe Kardashian was taking her hair from raven to red, Lauren Conrad debuted a darker do that was a distinct departure from her signature sun-kissed color. LC stepped out at CoverGirl’s 50th anniversary bash in L.A. on Wednesday with deep brunette hair touched just at the tips with subtle blonde highlights. And while this isn’t the first time the former Hills star has darkened up, the last time we saw her with anything dark, she was rocking a wig for a fashion photo shoot. We love seeing Lauren take a step away from her signature California-girl look, but we want to know what you think. Tell us: Should Lauren stick with the darker hair or go back to blonde? –Hana Choi

I agree she should add some lighter highlights around her face like at the temples, but I like it!

Whether brown or blond is not the issue. The woman needs to wash all that makeup off her face.

She looks great, more mature. I also went dark and am amazed how more respectful people are to me. It brought out a deeper skin tone and highlights my green eyes. The American public is very ignorant and cruel to blondes. Its easier to be darker haired in this mean society.
