Spanx, watch your back. Not only has Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin become a successful author and created a bedding line that’s “doing great” at BedBathandBeyond.com, but now the fiery redhead has a new business endeavor that’s set to be huge — in the skinniest way possible! “I have my line Skweez,” a curvy Zarin told PEOPLE at Tuesday night’s N.Y.C. premiere of Season of the Witch, starring Nicolas Cage. “I worked on a body shaper line which every young girl is going to want to wear,” she added. “I made them for young girls and for older women. It’s an alternative to Spanx, and I’m selling them for a lot less money. I started my own company called Skweez Couture and Skweezwear and we’ll have men’s shapewear, too.” Why shapewear? “Right now there is really only one game in town,” answered the ever-savvy Zarin. “I’m hoping to take some of their market share. We already went to major department stores. It’s going to be everywhere.”

Husband Bobby Zarin, at her side, concurred with his wife’s business plan. “She found something missing in that market,” he told PEOPLE. “I was sitting in on some of the meetings. And women are looking for the unique features in her new shapewear. There is a lot of interest.” Will Zarin’s fellow Housewives wear Skweez? “I will be sending all my sister Housewives on my show samples,” answered Mrs. Zarin. “Most of them have tried it already. And everybody who has tried it, loved it: Kelly, LuAnn, Cindy [Barshop]. It works.” And could Zarin notice a difference in her castmates’ curves? “Well, they’re so freakin’ skinny,” said Zarin. “But they really fell in love with this…And the biggest compliment was that off camera, LuAnn wore some, because she loved them. They were knee highs that are lace with rubber at the top to hold them up. They don’t squeeze you, but they’re really sexy. It’s part of the line.” And is she wearing her own creation? “Yup!” Tell us: Do you want to try Jill’s new shapewear line? –Jeffrey Slonim

I think she should just stick with drapes and window treatments.

Who cares???!!!! She’s a common princess. Nothing special about her or the line. Imitator at best.

No, I would never buy anything that she created or endorsed. I believe her daughter, who is quite overweight might wear these garments, but really it would be healthier for her and other teens to actually lose a bit of weight and wear normal undergarments. Weight loss may actually help Ally’s arthritis.

Agree with most all the comments above and thank goodness at that. I would never buy anything this woman makes – she has no class or taste. Pathetic she would market young girls when they have enough issues and yes perhaps it’s out of need for her own daughter but I agree that her daughter should see a nutritionist and work out and then be the best she can be.

Even the product name is tacky.

Wow, fake people making products for others to look fake. Big shocker.

I will not buy nor support any of this woman’s (Jill’s) products. I find her to be a self absorbed, fake, selfish being.

I think Jill looks Fabulous !!

Sorry on

I will not give her/her company any of my money. She would have been better off not publicizing/aligning herself with this new product if it is that great. Self promotion is always loathed.

HER show? No.
