Do You Flip for David Beckham’s New Do?

Do You Flip for David Beckham's New Hairstyle?
Fred Duval/FilmMagic

From subtle peach fuzz to a full-on faux hawk, David Beckham has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to his hair. Now, the soccer star is redefining the phrase “Bend It Like Beckham” with a new center-parted style, complete with flipped up ends. We wonder if this regrowth is wife Victoria’s doing, since Beckham’s new style somewhat resembles a well-groomed version of Tom Brady‘s wife-ordained mop. The soccer stud premiered the new look alongside look-alike son Brooklyn, 11, while attending The Sun Military Awards at the Imperial War Museum in London earlier tonight. And while we always think Becks looks smoking hot—especially in a suit and bow tie—we have a mixed reaction to this new look. Tell us: Would you call Beckham’s new ‘do a sexy flip or a total flop? 24 Hour Trend Alert: Winter Florals

Kristin Cavallari, Kristen Bell and Kylie Minogue Wear Winter Florals
Bauer-Griffin; Startraks; Steve Granitz/WireImage

A new trend is in bloom! This season, summer’s pervasive prints have been reincarnated into decadent and glamorous oversized florals. On Monday, Australian pop star Kylie Minogue was spotted out and about in London, sporting a kimono-inspired mohair Dolce & Gabbana black overcoat, dotted with pink and white buds. The style must be contagious because that same night, Kristen Bell stepped out for the U.K. premiere of Burlesque in an equally wild Stella McCartney mini dress, which she tempered with merlot satin pumps. The very next evening, reality starlet Kristin Cavallari turned up at the L.A. premiere of Country Strong rocking a coppery floral bodice gown with newly platinum tresses. And while we love the look on our breezy summer frocks, we’re still on the fence about this blooming winter trend. Tell us: What do you think of oversized florals for winter? Justine Harman

Jerry Hall on Ex Mick Jagger and Retro ’70s Style

Jerry Hall on Her Model Offspring and 1970's Fashion
Angelo Pennetta for Harper’s Bazaar

What do the Rolling Stones, Grace Jones, Andy Warhol and a zebra-print Louis Vuitton catsuit have in common? Fashion icon Jerry Hall, of course! The legendary muse of photographer Helmut Newton and former wife of rocker Mick Jagger appears in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar, revealing more than just her mile-long legs. Choice topics include an LSD-induced beauty revelation, musings on Mad Men—”I love the big girl”—and feeling an “electric jolt” the first time she touched her husband. But the most remarkable memories are those of the sartorial persuasion. “I was wearing linen trousers, kind of full, ’30s, and they buttoned at the side,” she recalls of her first interaction with Jagger, over 30 years ago. And though her model daughters Lizzy, 26, and Georgia May, 18, assure her she is now “too old” for mini skirts, they are constantly reminded that mom is the ultimate authority on high fashion. After completing a photo session with Chanel’s Karl Largerfeld, they were both told: “Your mother trained you so well.” To read more about Hall’s glamorous past and to check out vintage family photos, visit harpersbazaar.com. –Justine Harman

Jessica Alba Rocks a Sleek New Hairstyle: Love It or Hate It?

Jessica Alba Rocks a Sleek New Hairstyle: Love It or Hate It?
Albert Michael/Startraks

Jessica Alba is no stranger to changing up her hair, even going from blonde to red last year–but this time the star took her wavy look to the chopping block and nabbed a sleek and shiny bob. “New haircut tweeples -thx Renato Campora (@renatocampora),” she wrote on Monday, via Twitter, giving a shout-out to her celebrity hairstylist, Renato Campora. The mother of Honor showed off her classic do at the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show later that day while promoting her new film Little Fockers. We think the look adds serious sophistication to the screen siren’s appeal, but we want you to be the judge! Tell us: What do you think of Jessica Alba’s new sleek bob?Jessie Goldberg

Prince William’s Engagement Photo Sweater: Something Borrowed

Royal Style: All About Prince William's Engagement Photo Look
Mario Testino

Prince William and Kate Middleton are starting to tick the boxes on their wedding traditions. She wore something blue at the official engagement announcement Nov. 16. And he wore something borrowed in one of the official portraits released late Dec. 11. And in doing so, William has put another designer on the map: Brunello Cucinelli. William wore a fawn-colored cashmere sweater from the Italian designer–retailing for 500 pounds (about $780)–given to him to throw on over his Turnbull & Asser shirt by photographer Mario Testino and the team who attended the shoot. Known for making some of the finest cashmere and suede clothing in the high-end market, all of Cucinelli’s clothes are produced in Italy—in a hamlet he purchased and rebuilt close to the Umbrian town of Perugia. He was named this year as the Italian Entrepreneur of the Year and his 470 employees are so well looked-after (they are told they must leave work by 6 p.m.) that his company has been voted one of the best work places in Italy. He has boutiques around the world including New York, Bal Harbour, Fla., London and Beverly Hills. –Simon Perry

January Jones Bares All in New Versace Campaign

January Jones Gets 'Covered' By Versace
Mario Testino for Versace

When January Jones kicked off her Betty Draper apron and stepped onto the Emmy red carpet in a stunning blue Versace gown this summer, we knew the Mad Men star had found her fashion match. And now, January is kicking off all of her clothes for Versace’s new spring/summer 2011 ad campaign, posing almost completely nude, covered in nothing but a well-positioned purse and other luxe accessories from the Italian label. “I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde…and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the twenty-first century,” said Donatella Versace in a release. “She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too–it is a dramatic combination.” The campaign, which was shot in London by Mario Testino– who recently photographed Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal engagement portraits–features January with makeup and flipped out hair in reference to the ’60s, an era–and look!–the actress is quite comfortable portraying. And with her Mad Men hit landing Golden Globe nominations, we can’t wait to see if a fully-clothed January will don Versace on the red carpet this awards season. Tell us: What do you think of January Jones’ racy new ad campaign? –Jessie Goldberg
