Gisele Bündchen’s New Balenciaga Ads Revealed!

Gisele Bundchen for Balenciaga
Steven Meisel

Just as we’ve finally made peace with her impossibly long legs and perfect beach-tousled waves, Gisele Bündchen premieres a brand new look that has us clamoring for a page-boy cut and motorcycle vest! Appearing in Balenciaga’s spring/summer 2011 ad campaign (photographed by Steven Meisel) in a look pulled from the Parisian catwalk, Gisele is a far cry from her usual sun-drenched siren. “It’s a reaction to a certain kind of sexiness,” designer Nicolas Ghesquière told Style.com of his latest collection. “It’s about individuality.” And the veteran model, who walked the runway for the brand alongside superstars including Amber Valletta and Miranda Kerr, taps into the season’s androgynous trend in a plasticized blouse, chambray and leather topper and relaxed slacks, however we’re most shocked about her masculine disguise in the black-and-white image above. Also striking? Gisele’s new ‘do—a gleaming, stripey page-boy cut, which she juxtaposes with a smoldering gaze. And while we pretty much like anything the Brazilian bombshell does, we’re not sure how we feel about this new rough and tumble Gisele. Tell us: What do you think of Gisele’s Balenciaga ads? Kirsten Dunst Debuts a Banging New Hairstyle: Love It or Hate It?

Kirsten Dunst Adds Bangs to Her Bob: Love It or Hate It? Jonathan Alcorn/Zuma

With her trademark blonde hair and boho chic style, Kirsten Dunst is already one of Hollywood’s hottest style stars, and now she’s upping the ante with a brand new look. Following in the trendy footsteps of fashion mavens like Kate Moss and Alexa Chung, Kirsten has added some fabulous fringe to her bobbed hair. The All Good Things star stepped out with her new do at a private screening for her film in L.A. on Monday, wearing the blunt bangs and choppy style parted down the center for decidedly modern appeal. And while she first changed up her hair this summer, cutting her mid-length locks into a bob, it looks like she waited until now to add the finishing fringe! Tell us: What do you think of Kirsten’s new bangs? Do you love them or hate them?Jessie Goldberg

Zooey Deschanel Sues Steve Madden over Shoes

Zooey Deschanel Sues Steve Madden over Shoes
Jen Lowery/Startraks

Zooey Deschanel may be one of the most likeable actresses on the silver screen, but the indie darling has made a fashion nemesis in shoe giant Steve Madden. WWD reports that Deschanel filed a lawsuit against Madden, alleging that the retailer promised her upwards of $1.5 million for a planned line of Zooey branded shoes and accessories. In addition to financial restitution, Deschanel claims that the agreement with Madden prevented her from making other financially beneficial partnerships. However, she was tapped by Coty Inc.’s Rimmel cosmetics in March, for which she serves as a brand ambassador saying, “I want to be associated with products that are accessible for everyone.” And despite the fact that Madden was called “a mentor and a man of your word” by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen after their past partnerships–he designed their contemporary Elizabeth and James line as well as the moderately priced Olsenboye collection–it looks like his battle with Deschanel is a classic case of he said, shoe said! –Justine Harman

Would You Wear Spiked Nails Like Fergie?

Would You Wear Talons Like Fergie?Argoimages/JPI

Fergie’s fashion choices are nothing short of edgy, with her sartorial tastes leaning toward the sharp and weapon-like with seriously high stilettos, barbed jewelry and dangerous clothing, in the case of one spike-adorned jacket she wore on the Black Eyed Peas’ last tour. And now it seems the songstress has extended her love of potentially injury-inducing fashion to her nails with these super pointy talons. While we’re a huge fan of the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman and her slightly scary spikes, we’re not so sure everyone will be able to pull off this bold nail shape as flawlessly as Fergie. Tell us: What do you think of Fergie’s super sharp nails? Vote in our poll below!

Lady Gaga: Pantless in Paris

Lady Gaga: Pantless in Paris
Marc Piasecki/WireImage

Quite obviously, Lady Gaga simply didn’t have a thing to wear in Paris. Before the second of two concerts on Tuesday, the pop star left her Place Vendôme hotel late in the afternoon, “wearing a leather jacket,” according to one eyewitness. “She had on a matching beige string, big black fishnet stockings and really high, high heels…but no pants!” Gaga, who displayed a similar wardrobe preference last summer at a New York Mets game, evidently felt a quick change of heart—or the afternoon’s near-freezing temperature. Within minutes, her car stopped along the rue Richelieu, where she headed into a recently opened Bruce Field boutique. “Lady Gaga came in at 5:15,” an employee tells PEOPLE, “and she bought a number of things.” Bruce Field is a discreet upscale boutique featuring classic Ivy League style clothing for men and women. Among the items a still-pantless Gaga and an assistant brought up from the downstairs try-on area and piled onto the shop’s counter, an eyewitness says, “were pants and a lot of scarves. Most everything in purple.” Did she buy pants? “I can’t tell you,” the shop employee says. “I can tell you she stayed about 20 minutes and when she left there were some 30 photographers–and loads of fans–outside. It’s been a most unusual afternoon.” –Peter Mikelbank
