Sarah Jessica Parker Learns the Ropes as Halston Fashion Exec

It’s been almost a year since Sarah Jessica Parker took the creative and presidential helm at storied American fashion label Halston, but the Hollywood heavyweight turned hands-on exec has no intention of relinquishing control anytime soon. “I will never dip in and out of this,” she asserts in the January 2011 issue of Elle. “I’ll be involved down to the splitting of the atom.” And though she admits to lacking traditional fashion industry experience, Parker relies on her stylistic sensibilities and resourcefulness to get the job done. “I can’t always tell you the exact blend of a fabric, but I figure it out,” she explains. One thing the 45-year-old style icon does have figured out is a healthy approach to aging gracefully. “I’m aging all the time,” she laughs, “But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?” And though she may not be preoccupied with finding the fountain of youth, we think she looks hotter than ever in her belted emerald green tunic dress and gray bodysuit and pleated skirt–all by Halston Heritage, of course. WATCH: Marion Cotillard’s Femme Fatale Finale for Christian Dior Couture

The fourth and final installation of Christian Dior Couture’s four-part International tour of intrigue is almost here, and to keep you from waiting any longer, we’ve got a sneak peek at the oh-so-chic mini film! After three installments, set in Paris, New York and Shanghai, the epic finale takes place in a seedy London cabaret. In the teaser for the film short Lady Grey, directed by John Cameron Mitchell, a haute couture-clad Marion Cotillard appears as a burlesque performer, who beguilingly presents a mystery man with a room key. Show stopping in a silhouette-skimming sequined gown and ornate feathered headpiece, Cotillard has us right where she wants us: begging for more! With the nominees for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards announced last night, it looks like music’s biggest evening is going to be one stylish affair! From Rihanna and Katy Perry, to the always outrageous Lady Gaga, (who can forget her futuristic Armani Privé dress from last year’s awards?) we can’t wait to see what over-the-top ensembles these nominees will be wearing come Feb. 13. With last week’s launch of their new book, Kardashian Konfidential, and little sis Kylie Jenner’s recent photo shoot, the Kardashian clan is once again topping headlines, so it only makes sense for Kim to launch a watch collection to keep track of her family’s infinite projects! The 30-year-old reality TV star took to her website on Monday to announce the latest accessory to hold her famous name–and style. “Hi Dolls!!! My new project has been under lock and key, but now it’s finally ready to go! I am so excited to show you my new signature watch line,” she wrote. Kim joined forces with the Brissmor Company to design a series of watches to adorn every wrist including a blinged-out diamond-adorned version, and a gold round-face one featuring roman numerals. Kim’s new time-telling collection is launching on the heels of her recent jewelry line for Bebe, and while further details have yet to be revealed about where and when we can find the timepieces, the clock is ticking!
