Looks like Taylor Swift has something new to croon about. Though the news broke back in April that the singer would be the newest face of CoverGirl, fans have had to wait to see shots from the star’s ad campaign for the brand’s nature-inspired cosmetics line — until now. “I’m really excited for people to discover the new NatureLuxe line from CoverGirl!” Taylor said in a release. Not surprisingly, the fresh-faced country star proved herself to be as easy, breezy, beautiful as expected: surrounded by swathes of green fabric in a behind-the-scenes shot, Swift’s airy campaign shot reflects the feeling of the products, which were designed to deliver a polished but lightweight finish. “The Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm are really light and fresh, they feel amazing on my skin,” Swift raves of the makeup. Ready to sing its praises too? Fans can snag Taylor’s favorite products when they start rolling out in January. –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

I haven’t been a big fan of CG. I recently bought the CG Clean for Sensitive skin and I happen to like it so far. It’s lightweight, fragrance and oil-free and matches my skin perfectly, which is very hard when you switch products to match the color of your skin. I can’t believe some people are actually considering buying the new product because of Taylor’s face on it. I’m sure the pictures are photoshopped to make Taylor look younger instead of older. I think that’s why they call it an AD.

I think Taylor is a beautiful young lady. These shots of her are great. I do however wish she would stick to just writing songs and acting. She did a good job on CSI. Her singing is horrible and live is even worse.

taylor is a cute girl, but i don’t like these pictures at all. they give her too matte of an appearance. a natural look should be a little more dewy. nothing on her part, that’s the makeup artist & photographer.

to those commenting & belittling her non-fans, relax :). taylor is not walking perfection and we don’t know what she does behind closed doors. she seems to carry herself well. but honestly, she did make the most of the kanye situation and she is supposedly dating someone ten years her senior. so just let her be a real person- flaws, mistakes, bad choices and all. its ok, humanity is beautiful :).

My guy is in love with Taylor. She is THE only girl in the media he has ever admitted out loud that he thought was “hot”, in the 3 yrs we’ve been together. When I asked “why” He said “b/c she is so natural. Look at her, I bet she looks as good or better the second she wakes up in the morning.” Now that I’ve seen these pics I’m gonna hafta agree! STUNNING Taylor. I think I might be jealous!

bebi- so glad you pointed out that humanity is beautiful! I agree. And yes for her age she handeled the Kanye West situation better than most! I would have spit in his face!!! I think the matte finish is b/cuz of the season we are currently in. I have no doubts that when they start gearing up for summer shoots Taylor will have a glow to her skin. As for these photos, I like the second one, even with the arm. The first one is a little uncomfortable to look at. None the less she looks pretty. And of all the women in the media that my guy could comment on, I’m kinda proud of him, that he likes Taylor.
