Miranda Lambert’s Wedding Dress Will Show Off Her Curves

Miranda Lambert has no trouble speaking her mind in her music, and on her wedding day, she’ll have no problem wearing a dress that features her curves. “She’s a real woman and I love that about her,” Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott said Monday at the American Country Awards, “so it will be something that shows off her curves.” Scott, along with her two bandmates, has been invited to attend the nuptials and has already begun planning her wedding gift for the pair. “They’re perfect for each other,” said Scott, who added that she’s thinking about getting them “some kind of pistol,” since “they like to hunt together.” Scott, however, may be putting more thought into the wedding than Lambert’s fiancé, Blake Shelton, who says he’s letting Lambert do all the planning. “Last I heard [the wedding date] was in the spring, but that’s a constantly changing event,” he said. “Miranda is going to do this exactly how she wants to do it and I’m staying the hell out of the way.” –Mark Gray

No one said Miranda Lambert is a real woman because of her curves. She is a real woman because she is happy with who she is and doesn’t feel the need to make drastic changes to herself to fit an “ideal” image.

I wonder if those feathers are from 1 of those rare birds Blake shoots, lol. Good luck to them.

I cant wait to see the wedding pictures and her beautiful dress and all the celebs that will be attending!!

I sat next to them both last night at the American Country Awards and could see them both closely. Carrie Underwood is completely UNDERWEIGHT, I could see every bone on her body, especially her spine. My friend walked by her, who was a size 2, and still Carrie was smaller. Miranda looked very normal, very average, not fat or curvy. She had a slight belly and looked like maybe a 6 or an 8, tops. Remember what the camera does!

Miranda Lambert is a total doll! What an atrractive couple she and Blake Shelton make! Can’t wait to see her wedding dress!!

Yes, Lisa – Hilary did say that in terms of “curves” or weight. Hilary is a big girl in the country world, and she was using that in a “bonding” way.

And I’m not saying Hilary is big either, but that was an obnoxious comment for her to make, period. She could have just said that Miranda’s a girl who embraces her curves, and wants to showcase them. There was no need for the “real woman” comment, it just comes across as self soothing.

Miranda is perfect just the way she is. I’m straight as an arrow, and I can even say that she’s totally hot for men. Best of luck, you two!

Oops, I meant totally hot TO men. Best of luck!

It’s just so sad we have to all keep talking about it. I praise her for being who she is and still coming home, making cookies and making good hearty food and not being to shy to say no to it. She’s living her life for her and doesn’t care what anyone else has to say. And for the guy that says “he’ll cheat and she’ll get fat” just because that happened to you and your marrige – doesn’t mean that every couple is going to end up that way! These are good friends of mine and not only is all this hateful talk offensive … it’s just down right mean.

Ashley, sorry I took the statement “She’s a real woman, so she’ll show off her curves” to mean she’s proud of her body and isn’t going to hide it, not as an “obnoxious” comment about how only curvy women are real women. Many other people have called Miranda “real” and they wouldn’t exactly qualify as “big girls” (although I don’t think Hillary Scott does either).

I feel bad for some celebrities. Everything they say is critiqued and nit picked by people who think they know what they are saying better than they themselves do. It’s like there always has to be another meaning to everything they say.
