Miranda Lambert’s Wedding Dress Will Show Off Her Curves
Luiz Martinez/Broadimage

Miranda Lambert has no trouble speaking her mind in her music, and on her wedding day, she’ll have no problem wearing a dress that features her curves. “She’s a real woman and I love that about her,” Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott said Monday at the American Country Awards, “so it will be something that shows off her curves.” Scott, along with her two bandmates, has been invited to attend the nuptials and has already begun planning her wedding gift for the pair. “They’re perfect for each other,” said Scott, who added that she’s thinking about getting them “some kind of pistol,” since “they like to hunt together.” Scott, however, may be putting more thought into the wedding than Lambert’s fiancé, Blake Shelton, who says he’s letting Lambert do all the planning. “Last I heard [the wedding date] was in the spring, but that’s a constantly changing event,” he said. “Miranda is going to do this exactly how she wants to do it and I’m staying the hell out of the way.” –Mark Gray

Love this couple – they seem so real and down to earth. Blake is one smart guy to stay out of the way! lol

So if you don’t have curves you’re not a real woman? I hate the pitting of “curvy” women versus “thin” women. We’re all real woman, no more woman than each other. If you’re naturally thin, rock it. If you’re naturally curvy, rock it. The point, be your best you.

That’s nice to hear!

Pepper, she’s not saying that because Miranda has curves she’s more of a “real woman” than the thin girl down the street. She’s simply saying that most women aren’t a size 0 like the models walking the runway, or most celebrities are today. You’re right, if you’re naturally thin you should rock it! However, most of us women aren’t naturally thin and Miranda Lambert isn’t killing herself working out and dieting to maintain this certain size. She is how alot of women in the U.S. are.

She is so pretty and I bet they will have their happy ever after.
Curvy women appeared after the fact that the fashion crew all decided that if you were a size 12 or above you were fat! No one likes that title fat, so here’s curvy for you. I don’t believe anyone is heavy until you get way up there in sizes. Not a 12! That’s why we have little girls starving themselves to be skinny. No thanks, me and my plus size friends will stay that way, sooner or later we’ll be in style. LOL!

I absolutely adore Miranda Lambert!! She is such a beautiful, strong and talented lady. She looks great and yes she has curves. These articles are constantly talking about her curves b/c Carrie/Taylor are stick thin and are always being touted for it. Thick, thin, curvy, skinny who cares. They are all great. So excited for Miranda and Blake’s big day.

I do hate that people talk about Miranda’s weight like she is obese. She is a size 6!!! It is just crazy. Since Carrie and Taylor are size 0/2, Miranda is constantly being looked at as fat. Ridiculous!!!!!

They’ll get married, she’ll get fatter, he’ll cheat, they’ll get divorced. Then, the “real woman” will diet and exercise to get back at him. Real life. Deal with it.

David clearly has no clue what hes talking about.

All Miranda’s dresses show off her curves.. some more than needed. But as long as she’s happy (and her girls aren’t hanging out for the world to see) then it is good.
