Leighton Meester’s Lace Marchesa Jumpsuit: Love It or Hate It?

Leighton Meester Wears Lace Marchesa Jumpsuit Brian Ach/Getty; Rob Loud/WireImage

She may portray the uber-conservative Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, but in real life, Leighton Meester is all about edgy style. Whether she’s rocking a crocheted Marc Jacobs gown, a midriff-baring Versus dress or bright blue Proenza Schouler for J Brand scribble jeans, the style star is never one to shy from taking fashion risks. And last night proved no exception when she arrived at the Harry Winston Court of Jewels event in N.Y.C. in a super-sheer Marchesa lace jumpsuit. Complete with see-through harem pant legs, a low-cut back and visible lace hot pants, Leighton’s look was anything but reserved. With her messy pin-tucked bun, dark ruby lips and bold brows, there was no mistaking Leighton for a stuffy Upper East Side lady. Tell us: What do you think of Leighton’s look? Do you love it or hate it? Justine Harman

Would You Wear Hair Bling Like Kim Kardashian?

Would You Wear Hair Jewelry Like Kim Kardashian?Demis Maryannakis/Splash News Online

When it comes to beauty, Kim Kardashian isn’t exactly a shrinking violet: She likes her hair big, her lashes impossibly long and her lips beyond glossy. Recently, however, the reality star went out wearing a chic ponytail that at first glance seemed uncharacteristically demure–at least until she turned around. Draped over the sleek tail were row after row of bling-tastic gold chains. We love how Kim always takes a daring approach to beauty, but we’re not sure how we feel about this particular statement piece, which we’d almost expect to see draped around her neck instead. Tell us: Would you wear hair bling like Kim?

Tom Ford’s Comeback Collection Revealed!

Tom Ford's Comeback Collection Revealed!Courtesy Vogue

Ever since designer Tom Ford left the creative helm at Gucci and YSL, female fans have been waiting with bated breath for his return to womenswear–and now, in the December issue of Vogue, Ford offers a first glimpse of his new spring 2011 women’s collection. “It’s about individuality. Real clothes, real women. For a fashionable woman aged 25 to 75,” Ford tells Vogue. “I don’t think fashion has to change every five minutes. I’d like these to be clothes you can wear for a long time—ten, 20 years; pass on to your daughter. Why buy vintage when you can open your own closet!” The new “Mr. Ford,” as he now likes to be called, returns with a luxurious line of ’70s-inspired designs, including a fringed, electric blue dress and sexy pant suits. The well-edited collection will only be available in his 16 menswear stores until next year. Ford revealed these exclusive photos to Vogue three months after his ultra exclusive presentation during New York Fashion Week in September, managing to maintain a buttoned-up approach in his comeback: “I do not understand everyone’s need to see everything online the day after a show,” he tells Vogue. “I don’t think it ultimately serves the customer, which is the whole point of my business—not to serve journalists or the fashion system.” To read more of his interview, pick up the December issue of Vogue on newsstands Nov. 23 or visit Vogue.com. – Hana Choi
