There’s no denying that Kate Middleton‘s style is appreciated on both sides of the Atlantic, but this time, she has the approval of two of the U.K.s most fashionable exports. “I really love her,” MTV’s Alexa Chung told PEOPLE on Wednesday night at the launch of Google’s Boutiques.com, “and I think she’s pretty elegant and classy, and graceful–all the things that someone in the royal family should be.” Fashion critics certainly agree, with unanimous approval of the blue Issa dress that Middleton wore at her engagement announcement and buzz building on who she’ll choose to wear for her big day. Sharing the sentiment was the fashionable and Anna Wintour-favored Carey Mulligan, who complemented the future princess on her effortless style. “She never looks like she’s trying to be anyone else and she’s comfortable in her own skin,” said Carey. “She does that well.” –Shruti Dhalwala

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Holiday ‘Goop’ Gift Guide!

Gwyneth Paltrow's 'Goop' Gift Guide!
John Shearer/WireImage

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s weekly newsletter Goop.com has always been a chic source of well-informed ideas for the savvy shopper, so it only makes sense that the actress-turned-singer would get into the holiday spirit by curating her own gift guide. “Anything personally made for you always trumps other gifts because of the thought and organization put into it,” Gwyneth writes. Her selection includes eclectic finds like customized holiday cards from Cocodot.com and trinkets from Vicente Agor, a San Francisco-based jeweler, who (for $310 and up), will turn a profile picture of your loved ones into one-of-a-kind pair of earrings. And if picking family favorites is too hard, Gwyneth encourages readers to represent their hometown glory with Tophdaddy‘s uber-hip area code T-shirts ($18 to $60). For the frequent traveler she recommends Abernathy Road‘s handsome assortment of leather goods, which includes an iPhone pocket journal ($372), and perfectly rugged duffel bags. However, Gwyneth’s personal go-to luggage? The monogrammed Louis Vuitton Pegase suitcase, of course. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Back In Fashion with Kohl’s Line

Looks like Jenny from the block has a blockbuster deal up her sleeve! Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony are launching a lifestyle brand with Kohl’s, set to hit stores and Kohls.com next fall. The pair appeared at the London Hotel in West Hollywood today for a press conference announcing the exciting news. In addition to men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, the duo is also expected to expand their lavish touch to a home collection. And while this is definitely not J.Lo’s first foray into fashion, having dabbled in the clothing and perfume categories since 2002–and most recently starring in Gucci ads with her twins–the superstar is clearly showing no signs of slowing down. “We are thrilled to embark on this new venture with Kohl’s and to join in this important partnership,” said Jennifer and Marc in a statement. “These are really exciting times for us and our family and we are looking forward to collaborating with Kohl’s in the creation of a lifestyle brand that represents our true style and the essence of who we are, and what we have come to represent as artists.” The couple was also heard joking: “No we are not having another baby or getting divorced…we are becoming business partners!” The multi-talented stars will join the likes of Lauren Conrad, Vera Wang and Daisy Fuentes (among others) on Kohl’s star-studded roster. If J.Lo’s red carpet-ready star style is any indication, we’re sure her new deal with Kohl’s will also be a huge success! Tell us: Would you buy anything from a Lopez-Anthony lifestyle line for Kohl’s? – Hana Choi

Anna Paquin’s Naughty Nocturnal Activity: Online Shopping!

Anna Paquin's Naughty Nocturnal Activity: Online Shopping!
A. Scott/BFAnyc/Sipa

Anna Paquin‘s True Blood alter-ego may have to worry about fangs coming out at night, but it turns out in real life, it’s her laptop that magically appears after midnight! The self-confessed “shamefully” big online shopper took a little bit of loving ribbing from her husband (and co-star) Stephen Moyer at the boutiques.com launch in N.Y.C. on Wednesday night. “If I wake up in the middle of the night, and I’ll kind of feel the light and I’ll open my eyes and it’ll just be the glow of the computer, and she’s even shopping in her sleep!” said Moyer. “She loves it.” Paquin defends herself, explaining “I don’t always buy, I’m almost more of a window shopper!” Turns out that Paquin isn’t the only fan of surfing the web for fashion as fashionistas like Carey Mulligan, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz created their own fave picks for the new Google.com shopping site. So what does Mulligan pick out to shop for in her boutique? “It’s just stuff that I wear. There are two things that I have — I have nights like tonight where I wear very high heels, and nice dresses, and then my normal life where I’m pretty casual,” Mulligan told PEOPLE. “It’s Rag and Bone and Elizabeth and James when I’m off duty, and then all my very fancy clothes like Prada!” See more at boutiques.com.–Shruti Dhalwala

Victoria Beckham Prefers Men With No Clothes On

Victoria Beckham Prefers Men With No Clothes OnPaul Hackett/Landov

With one of the world’s hottest men as her husband, designing suits for the opposite sex may seem like a logical next step for Victoria Beckham, but the designer begs to differ. “I’m not really that interested, at the moment, in men’s clothes,” Posh told the International Herald Tribune‘s fashion editor Suzy Menkes at the 10th anniversary of the publication’s Heritage Luxury Conference in London, before admitting that yes, men do in fact look better with their clothes off. Beckham, who has successfully launched five lines since 2009 and is currently up for a British Fashion Award, says creating clothes for the opposite sex would be difficult. “How on earth, as a male, do you design dresses for women?” she said. “Because how I work is I actually put the dresses on myself. And I won’t disclose any of their answers but quite a few of my male friends have actually said they do put the dresses on themselves.” And just in case Posh changes her mind and does decide to venture into menswear, she knows husband David Beckham would be the perfect male mannequin. But for now, she said, his role is to just look good, because “that’s what he does.” For the full interview, check out nytimes.com. –Jessie Goldberg
