Spring is in the air—fashionwise that is. Tod’s celebrated their spring/summer collection with a lunch in Beverly Hills on Friday benefiting The Museum of Contemporary Art. Hosted by creative director Derek Lam, the ultra-glam event drew some of Tinsletown’s finest fashionistas including stars like Rosario Dawson, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kelly Lynch, who epitomized the brand’s classically-chic style as they sipped champagne and shopped Tod’s Beverly Hills location. “I love getting the insider [look] because I get to get a little shopping done in advance,” said Dawson, who was clad in Dolce & Gabbana and Tod’s. “That’s the key and it’s time for Christmas shopping.” The preview also got the Unstoppable star thinking about dabbling in her own fashion career, telling PEOPLE, “Oh yeah, I would totally collaborate on something. I think that would be so fun, especially something short-term,” adding that she would design with her own body type in mind.”I don’t have really big hips or anything, so I always fit smaller on the bottom but the top I always have to let out.” As for Lam, who just signed on for another two years with the Italian fashion house, inspiration for the new collection fit within the spring aesthetic. “The colors were inspired by flowers,” he said, “Gardening shoes I love, like the croc mixed with the garden soles. I think Tod’s is about the Mediterranean style everybody aspires to don in the most modern, classic [way].” –Michelle Ward

Taylor Swift caused more than a few double-takes when she stepped onto the red carpet last night at the American Music Awards debuting a dramatic new hairstyle. The singer, who picked up the best female country artist award, complemented her new sophisticated style with a sparkly mini dress before pulling her hair back into a sleek ponytail for her performance. And while we’re not used to seeing Taylor without her signature cute curls, we’re loving this chic new style. Tell us: What do you think of Taylor’s new style? Do you prefer her hair curly or straight?

Beyoncé Takes Heat for Her Banned Fragrance Ad

When Beyoncé launched her first fragrance, Heat, in Februrary, both the scent and the campaign left you wanting more–until now. The ad for the Coty perfume has been deemed “racy-but not explicit” by Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), who has banned the sexy commercial from running before 7:30 p.m., when kids are most likely to be sitting in front of the TV, reports WWD. And while the commercial was supposed to reflect Beyoncé’s personal ‘sexy chic’ style–not to suggest sex!–it looks like British officials are sticking to their guns. In the controversial commercial, the star appears to be lying in a state of suggested undress in the middle of a room before she rises in a barely-there red silk robe, caressing her neck while seductively singing “You Give Me Fever.” And although her first fragrance has shown to be yet another blockbuster for the star–making $3 million in one month–if her British fans want some heat, they’ll have to either wait until the sun goes down or head to a department store and pick up a bottle. But before you go anywhere, check out the commercial below and see what all the fuss is about! Tell us: Do you think Beyoncé’s Heat commercial should have been banned?Jessie Goldberg

Bidding ends on November 26. Prices for the line range from $40 for an embellished T-shirt up to $250 for party-worthy dresses.
