SPOTTED: Blake Lively Buying 40 Pairs of Christian Louboutins!

Blake Lively Buys 40 Pairs of Christian Louboutins Amanda Schwab/Startraks

It looks like Gossip Girl‘s favorite fashionista has a real-life shoe fetish! Footwear News spotted Blake Lively scooping up more than 40 pairs of the designer shoes at the invite-only Christian Louboutin sample sale in N.Y.C. last week. And while we’re not mathematicians, with flats starting at $150 and heels at $225–and factoring in Lively’s propensity for dangerously high footwear–we’re estimating a final tally of upwards of $9K. “I have sisters, so I’m getting gifts for them and for friends,” the star explained before confessing, “Of course, I got quite a few for myself, too.” Perhaps one of her finds was the pointed on-trend merlot velvet pair she wore to the 7th annual CFDA awards that very night. However, one question remains: Did she splurge on the Blake? – Justine Harman

Nicki Minaj and M.A.C Launch Pink Friday Lipstick

Nicki Minaj’s eagerly anticipated album hits shelves on Nov. 26, but that’s not the only reason the pint-sized rapper‘s name will soon be on everyone’s lips. Minaj has teamed up with M.A.C to create a limited-edition lipstick shade named after her debut album, Pink Friday. A self-proclaimed fan of the brand, Minaj says she was so honored she teared up when meeting the M.A.C team for the first time. “They had no idea how much this meant to me,” she told PEOPLE. “I am super excited about the lipstick because I never imagined that M.A.C would even recognize me this early on in my career. For them to name the lipstick after my album makes me feel like I can do anything in the world because they are such an important brand and such an important staple in our culture.” The collaboration marks a longtime love affair between the hip hop diva and the cosmetic line. “I wore M.A.C to my high school prom,” she says. “For them to throw themselves behind a little rapper makes me love the company even more.” M.A.C’s Pink Friday will be available exclusively online, for four Fridays only, beginning Nov. 26 and running through Dec. 17. –Samantha McIntyre

Ashley Greene: From ‘Hot Mess’ to Style Star

Ashley Greene: From 'Hot Mess' to Style StarDario Cantatore/Getty

Like most teenagers growing up, Twilight star Ashley Greene experimented with clothes and makeup, but don’t expect to find her on any best-dressed lists in her high school yearbook. “I think the worst thing looking back is old high school photos–just because I think everything was overdone. It just really wasn’t me,” said Greene, brand ambassador for Avon-owned Mark beauty, at an event at the Glass House in N.Y.C. earlier this month. “I was just a hot mess!” Now a celebrated style star gracing the pages of glossies and ad campaigns, Greene describes her current look as “ever changing and evolving,” telling the audience, “I am a big jeans and T-shirt girl, but I like to dress it up with accessories and scarves, great boots, great bags just to accessorize it a little bit.” And while Greene, 23, loves to play with fashion, she is quite serious when it comes to empowering young women. “I want to use this platform to encourage young women to be self-confident,” explained Greene, who went for a natural look at Thursday’s event, except for her reddish-plum lipstick. “I have learned that whenever you finally embrace yourself, is when you are truly comfortable.” –Jenisha Watts

Cyndi Lauper Shows Her True Charitable Colors–and Top Beauty Picks

Known for changing her hair color ‘time after time,’ Cyndi Lauper is now also changing up her beauty routine. “I am 97 and I look fantastic!” joked Lauper, 57, to PEOPLE in N.Y.C. on Monday while raising AIDS awareness at God’s Love We Deliver, an organization that helps feed and improve the lives of people with serious illnesses like AIDS. Lauper, a spokesperson for the M.A.C AIDS Fund who appeared alongside Lady Gaga in M.A.C’s From Our Lips campaign, said that when she’s not sporting M.A.C’s bright red Viva Glam Cyndi LipGlass, she lives for beauty expert Tracie Martyn’s Firming Serum. “It heals your skin. It makes it soft. It makes it healthy,” said the singer. And what does Lauper do when she “just wants to have fun?” Yoga, of course. “Let me tell you how good yoga is. It is drop-dead good. It creates interior strength,” said the singer, who complements her yoga workouts with an all-organic diet and glasses of alkaline water. When in doubt, Lauper suggests heading to the drug store for one beauty product that never fails—cocoa butter. –Michael Gioia
