The time has finally come for Justin Timberlake‘s female fans to relish in his scented glory! Just last month, the face of Givenchy’s Play for Him cologne also helped the brand release the Play for Her perfume for women, in an unexpected deal with the French label. “I’ve always loved Givenchy’s brand just because it’s very sleek and very modern,” he told PEOPLE. “We didn’t get into a partnership to create a women’s fragrance. We got into a partnership to create a men’s fragrance. But I think that they saw the opportunity and it translated very well.” So how did the pop icon – who himself admitted to not wearing much cologne before the collaboration – lend his nose to the female version of Play? “I think that perfume should be experienced in a layer,” Justin told PEOPLE. “I think the modern woman doesn’t need to be sold on feeling like Cinderella. I feel like this is a little more tangible, a little more real.” Both fragrances, which are housed in bottles resembling a digital music player, are available in stores now starting around $47.50 for a 1-ounce bottle. When it came to picking out the perfect engagement ring for Jessica Simpson, beau Eric Johnson knew it had to be truly special. “Eric wanted the most romantic, beautiful, special ring for Jessica,” celebrity jeweler Neil Lane tells PEOPLE exclusively. The result? A three-stone Lane sparkler with a large central ruby — over 5 carats! — flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds, also more than five carats. While the ruby just so happens to be Simpson’s birthstone, the gem “represents love,” says Lane. “The ruby is a stone of love and it is the most romantic gem and it’s very rare and very, very special.” Sources tell us Simpson was “totally surprised” by the proposal and thrilled by the ring. Jason Wu’s frothy, feminine dresses are fit for the First Lady so it’s no surprise that the designer is introducing a capsule collection for fashion-forward brides. Wu has created five ivory dresses, ranging in price from $795 to $4,000, that are set to launch exclusively at net-a-porter.com in January, reports WWD. Describing the looks as “both youthful and injected with elements of American sportswear,” the designer tells the publication that while he designed with the altar-bound in mind, the versatile pieces can be worn for a variety of occasions. And judging from the sketches, the chic offerings embody the best of Jason Wu. From ornate beading to structured silhouettes and on-trend bows and feathers, there’s a little something for everyone.
