Emma Watson Turns Her Nose Up at Celebrity Fragrances

Harry Potter star Emma Watson may have fans clamoring to replicate her sophisticated style, but unlike some of Hollywood’s hot young things, she’s notoriously refused to lend her name to just any fashion or beauty project. And, she says, if there’s one form of celebrity licensing that truly confounds her, it’s celebrity scents. “I can’t understand this fragrance thing,” she tells the British Press Association. “Why would you want to smell like somebody else? Don’t you want to smell like yourself?” While Eau de Emma won’t be hitting beauty counters anytime soon, fashion collaborations are something she has been more open to, recently contributing and modeling for fair-trade clothing collection Free People and posing alongside younger brother Alex in a series of ads for luxury collection Burberry. “I love it, and I will continue to work in the fashion industry,” she says. “I am interested in ethical fashion, I want to make a difference and it’s nice to contribute.” –Justine Harman

Geeze, I just want to abduct her, and bring her to Southern California, where she can teach some of these Hollyweird fly-by-nights the meaning of the word “class”.

So very unfair, The UK gets Emma, and we get Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga!

Ok, she doesn’t want to smell like everyone else. So why would she want others to wear what she likes to wear??? She’s smart. She’s more intelligent than most American actresses her age. They’ll copy her un-original hair cut, wear the clothes she wears and . . . What else? Get an education like her? :D

And another thing! So many people are allergic to man-made scents. Why not bathe and be done with fake smells. That goes for people who use such pollutants that also numb your olfactory organ to stink. Clean house, clean clothes and clean body odor. ;)
