She is beautiful so it will make no difference – a ponytail and gunnysack – she could make it work. She is plain gorgeous. Best of luck to both

Stacey on

I wish I had her hair

Gina on

As long as their happy and in love it doesn’t matter what you look like – it only matters how the other person sees you. I wish them the best.

Lena on

I don’t see her as stunning or Gorgeous, pretty but in a average way.The marriage will probably work because they knew each for so long.

Jon on

That’s nice! Glad Billy Joel, 61, is doing ok after having Hip Surgery, I wish him a speedy recovery from it, though!

Diane on

@Jon-You’re comment on Billy Joel is on the wrong article. This one is about Kate Middleton.

Anika on

She looks great. I hope she never cuts her hair.

I honestly have to question the eyesight and standards of anyone who says Kate – now Catherine – isn’t beautiful. She is absolutely breathtaking and was already very regal looking, long before she ever became engaged to a prince! I recently saw a picture of her mother and wow, do they look alike! Her mother is beautiful, too. But as for the future Princess Catherine of Wales, I find her just absolutely beautiful. And from everything I’ve read about her over the last 8 years, she is equally, if not more beautiful on the inside where it really counts!

KactusKat on

As long as Prince William is in love with her, and treats her MUCH BETTER than his father treated his mother, then it doesn’t matter to me what she looks like. Stop worrying about her looks, and worry about their happiness & a long, prosperous life instead!!!

i think she is so pretty and they are just perfect i hope it works for them

SS on

If I could be anyone I would be her on her wedding day lol. I know they’ll make each other happy forever. best of Luck to them!

Andie on

She is of average looks certainly not stunning like Princess Diana. And, besides anyone can look that great with all the monetary resources she has!

Dana on

I think she’s beautiful! I thought Princess Diana was gorgeous, but she got more beautiful as she aged. When she got engaged, I thought she was a very plain Jane.

Ann on

I think he is making a huge mistake marrying her. I am a really good judge of character and I feel like he is making a huge mistake in the pit of my stomach. I pray that God will lead and guide him. We have to look out for him because Diana is not here to do so. I love him and wish him well.

marky on

She is much prettier than Diana was. Diana was attractive, but never beautiful. Kate (Catherine) is very pretty and conducts herself with such grace and seems to love William very much and he seems to love her. I don’t think Diana loved Charles or Charles loved Diana. It was a marriage of convenience and hard for both of them. Neither was faithful, and Charles wasn’t worse than Diana, just because you liked her.

Elinor on

How many years apart are they?…cause she looks

Lisa on

@KathyH She has been Catherine all along & has always gone by that. It was the press that nicknamed her Kate…she has never, ever used it herself. Her friends & family all call her Catherine.

yup on

She needs to change that raccoon make-up and of course shorten hair otherwise she looks 10 years older.

Now Catherine is ready for being a future Princess with everything.
So long Princess Catherine may you be-
A princess the world loves so enjoyably.

Caterina on

Kate/Catherine is just stunning. From her interview with the Prince you can tell she is just beautiful inside and out. What a wonderful thing, romance. Could not have happened to two better people.

Sheri on

@Lisa She is actually known to those close to her as Kate. If you listen to the interview the couple gave the day of the engagement, William constantly refers to her as “Kate”, not “Catherine”; Catherine will be her formal name, but I’m sure she’ll still go by Kate with friends/family.

Ashley on

I just don’t see it, lookswise. I’m sure she is a fantastic person, but as far as her looks go, I for one don’t see the big deal. She’s pretty, sure, but stunning? Gorgeous? Breathtaking? Not so much.

Best of luck to them!

shalie on

I think she is average looking. They are now saying how stunning she is because she is marrying Prince William.
I wish her the best I hope they have a long and prosperous marriage.

s on

@Ann Really? Have you met her to be able to judge her character? You do know you should not trust everything you read about people? And I would just like to add he is 28 year old the days of him needing his parents to tell him what to do are long gone, he is a grow up man now who can make his own decisions and deal with the consequences of his actions.

From someone that has met the happy couple, she is very beautiful in person the pictures do not do her justice. They were very happy together when I’ve seen them in university some years ago. They truly belong together not only cause they love each other but it is the honesty, respect, and understanding between them that is so beautiful and why I think they will last forever. I hope they do, they are both truly great and kind people.

sunny on

I wish them both the best. But I think there is one thing that I hope the press realizes. The interest for Diana and the interest in Kate is not comparable, so I hope the press doesn’t cover Kate much. Diana had a very unique brand of personal magic that is not there for any other member of any royal family anywhere. It was solely due to the fact that she was an incredibly beautiful soul, vulnerable and open about who she was and what was happening to her. She had been through a great deal of pain and had tremendous growth from that and shared love and compassion with others. She recognized that people, individual people. are most hungry for love in the world and it is the disease that afflicts humanity the most, more than anything. As I said, this level of caring and honesty and vulnerability and depth is unique to her. It was her drawing power, she sucked you in because you saw there was such beauty there. No one else has that. Kate is nice and all, but am I going to watch their wedding? Probably not. The joint interview of Kate and William was nice and polite, but I was honestly bored. The question everyone is thinking and no one is talking about is, is she out of her mimd marrying into that family?? Does she think that a person in William’s position is going to be faithful to her for the rest of her life? Is she nuts? The fact that the royal family is so chummy with her shows she is in danger of losing herself and what is most important. It is like watching a train go in a direction that you hope it won’t. I think a lot of young woman like myself actually feel sad for her honestly. Who would want the life she is walking into, it is like walking into a place where there is no privacy and you are being fed to the dogs. I wish your wisdom and strength.

Natalie on

Ann: You’re a wacko!! You’re a good judge of a persons character? How are you judging her? Based on pictures and video you have seen of her? And you nor any of us is it any of our business or place to be looking out for Prince William because his mother passed away. You’re just a creeper!!

Jen on

Fergie’s name is Sarah and no one has ever called her that. Everyone calls her Kate this will never change and she will be known by her nickname rather than Catherine as its easier to say and flows better in TV and Print Media

Well wisher on

Wishing Kate and William the marital bliss Diana could find with Charles
