Jenna Dewan Calls Herself a ‘Lazy Fashionista’

Norman Scott/Startraks

The Dewan-Tatum household may be a house of style, but Step Up actress Jenna Dewan and her husband, Channing Tatum, have different approaches when it comes to fashion. Dewan considers herself “a lazy fashionista”, while Tatum, she says, possesses the inherent fashion sense that comes from being a former model. “I do follow [trends] but I’m lazy about it. I’m not the first one there buying,” Dewan told PEOPLE at ARCADE Boutique and Children’s Institute Autumn Party at The London West Hollywood Hotel on Wednesday night. “Most of the time, honestly it’s like, ‘oh I like that’ and maybe I’ll go and buy one but I’m not like, ‘oh this is the thing, I have to have this.’” As for the dapper Tatum, appearing in ad campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Dolce & Gabbana and Nautica has given him an innate sense of style. But that doesn’t mean the actor doesn’t appreciate advice from his wife: “Sometimes I’ll be like, ‘Hey babe, maybe you should choose that shirt,’ but he has really good fashion sense for himself,” Dewan said, adding, “He definitely gives me his opinion [too], but we are loving about it.” As for fall trends, Dewan knows what she wants. “I’m obsessed with leopard and that’s really in. I’m trying to find leopard shoes that are not leather. I’m searching for the right brand because I’m an animal activist, ” said Dewan. “I’m also really into military trends. I just got a really cute military jacket and military cargo skinny pants.” So will the couple will be searching for baby clothes anytime soon? Dewan says, “In the future, not right now.” –Michelle Ward

Ashley Tisdale Cheering Her New Workout-Heavy ‘Hellcats’ Role

Ethan Miller/Getty

Ashley Tisdale has much to be excited about when it comes to life after East High School. Following the third installment of the popular High School Musical, Tisdale has focused on her CW show, Hellcats, in which she plays a cheerleader. And while she still loves her narcissistic character in HSM, Tisdale said there are certain things about Hellcats that she prefers. “It’s awesome to be able to work out for your job all the time,” Tisdale told PEOPLE of her role that often has her in sports bras and short shorts. “I am constantly working out with my trainer. I’m on a more healthy diet. I have a cheat day, though. It’s a very healthy way of living, I must say. It’s a lot of fun.” Her cheat food? “Something involving bread or pasta.” But the 25-year-old still embraces her days as a female antagonist on the Disney series, as well as her former cast mates. “The cast is growing up and we’re doing our own projects but I have to say there is a tight bond with all of us,” Tisdale told PEOPLE Sunday while hosting a party at Las Vegas’s Wet Republic. “We went through something that is so lucky and it’s something that does not happen every day and we have that connection. They are my best friends… It’s like second nature to us.” –Mark Gray

Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian or Salma Hayek: Who Wore Their Dirndl Best for Oktoberfest?

Koch Joerg/DPA/Abaca; Toni Passig/WireImage; Alexandra Beier/Landov

It’s Oktoberfest in Germany and some of the sexiest–and bustiest!–stars got into the spirit over the weekend, suiting up in the traditional dirndl dress. Showing a public display of affection for Bavarian style, a bright-eyed Katy Perry donned a polka-dot dirndl for an appearance on the German variety show Wetten, dass…? in Munich on Saturday. Kim Kardashian also took her Bavarian beer girl role quite seriously, appropriately accessorizing her custom-made dirndl with pigtails and a pitcher of brew. She even took to her Twitter account to boast, “I love Germany! It’s Vonderful here!” But these A-listers weren’t the first to embrace the look. Two years ago, Salma Hayek donned the low-cut Bavarian dress, and almost exposed a little too much of her enviable assets, nearly missing a serious wardrobe malfunction during a performance on the German variety show. And while each brunette bombshell looked authentic in her dirndl, we can’t decide who wore her traditional dress best. Tell us: Who had the best Oktoberfest dress? Vote below! –Jessie Goldberg

Dana Delany Recalls Her Botox and Eating-Disorder Nightmares

Courtesy Prevention

Think getting Botox is just a silly little procedure with no potential long-term downside? Listen to actress Dana Delany’s story. “Seven years ago, I had never heard of Botox,” the former Desperate Housewives star tells Prevention magazine in its November issue. “My dermatologist was saying, ‘You should try it.’ He injected my forehead, hit a nerve, and created a huge hematoma. The nerve has been dead ever since. It affected the muscle in my right eye, so my eye has started to droop a little bit.” The experience left Delany, 54, wary of plastic surgery, and impressed by women in Hollywood who shun it. “I won’t do it, no,” she says. “My hat’s off to Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s so smart, and she doesn’t dye her hair or anything. And Meryl Streep still looks like herself. Diane Keaton, too. I think the really great actresses don’t worry about that kind of thing.” Delany, who stars in the new ABC medical drama Body of Proof, also relates her struggles as a young woman with an eating disorder. “When I was a teenager and in my twenties, I had eating issues,” she says. “I binged. I starved. I was one step from anorexia — a piece of toast and an apple would be all I would eat in a day.” But despite her misadventures with Botox and food, Delany says she has a healthy outlook when it comes to the heaviest issue of all — her own mortality. “I think I have a pretty good relationship with death,” she says. “Ever since I was a little kid, it wasn’t something I feared.” To hear more from Dana’s interview visit prevention.com, or pick up the November issue of Prevention magazine, on newsstands tomorrow. –Tim Nudd
