Albert Michael/Startraks

With a burgeoning music and movie career, not to mention a wildly-popular clothing line under her belt, Selena Gomez has been one busy girl—but not too busy to lend a hand—and a gorgeous dress!—to a great cause. The UNICEF ambassador is auctioning off the glamorous Catherine Dean gown that she wore in her “A Year Without Rain” video to raise money for UNICEF in its mission to help disadvanated children in need worldwide. “It’s a beautiful dress,” Gomez tells PEOPLE exclusively of the chiffon gray halter gown. “It was obviously a very important part of the video — we wanted it to be very beautiful and very flowy and I got so many great comments on it so I thought it would be awesome to give it to charity.” Available now through Nov. 10 via online auction site Charitybuzz, the stunning dress is not the only item that the Disney star is auctioning off! Just in time for Halloween, Selena is offering one fan and five lucky friends the chance to see and meet her during her first-ever acoustic concert at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on Oct. 26 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. “To be able to see what they do for these kids—it’s amazing and everyone cares so much. EXCLUSIVE: Amy Winehouse Finds Unlikely Style Inspiration in Elizabeth Taylor

Bryan Adams for Harper’s Bazaar

Controversy seems to follow Amy Winehouse wherever she goes, but her beehive hair, heavy eyeliner and widespread tattoos have also made her into something of a style icon, albeit an unwilling one. “A style, like, what?” the singer turned designer says in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar when asked if she considers herself a fashion icon. “No, of course not!” she tells the magazine. “I just dress like…I’m an old Jewish black man. I just dress like it’s still the ’50s.” But when it comes to her own sources of fashion inspiration, Winehouse, shot by rock star turned photographer Bryan Adams in a dress from her sportswear collection for British brand Fred Perry, has a hard time deciding. “Elizabeth Taylor,” she says, before changing her mind. “Not really. She had purple eyes. That’s weird.” But despite her indecision, Winehouse says she was quite certain when it came to working with British label Fred Perry on a fashion line. “I knew exactly what I wanted,” she said of her vision for the collaboration. “And I love Fred Perry so much. I was honored,” Amy says, before admitting that when the fashion house asked for her hand in the 17-piece clothing and accessories collection, she could hardly believe they picked her. To read Amy’s full interview, visit harpersbazaar.com/amywinehouse or pick up the November issue, on newsstands Oct. 26. –Gillian Koenig; Jessie Goldberg

Heidi Klum: Back to Ann Taylor for the Holidays

Courtesy Ann Taylor

She’s back! Following the success of last year’s campaign, supermodel mom Heidi Klum will once again be the face of Ann Taylor’s holiday ads. “I love dressing up! If you’re going to a party, why not make the most of it?” she says in a release of representing this year’s chic day-to-evening separates, party-perfect dresses, gifts and accessories inspired by a night out on the town. “This new collection is all about luxurious fabric, really great styles and fun accessories. More is more…so have some fun with it!” Shot by acclaimed British photographer Rankin, the ad campaign will showcase Heidi in full cashmere-and-faux-fur holiday spirit. The Project Runway host joins a legion of stylish celebrities, including Naomi Watts and Milla Jovovich, who have graced Ann Taylor ads. And it seems Heidi–who recently bid adieu to Victoria’s Secret after a 13-year run and launched a New Balance activewear line–is certainly keeping herself busy! – Hana Choi

Julianne Moore Named the New Face of Talbots

Getty

First she was Tom Ford’s leading lady, then Bulgari’s, and now, Julianne Moore is taking on Talbots’ latest campaign for spring 2011. She’ll join an increasingly fashion-forward roster for the retailer, which caused quite a stir when it signed ’90s supermodel Linda Evangelista as the face of its fall campaign. “Julianne Moore represents a timeless, ageless, natural American beauty that this brand has always represented,” says Talbots chief creative officer, Michael Smaldone in a release. “The fortyish woman embodies a confidence and strength that comes with experience. Being ‘fortyish’ also represents a time in her life, that she buys what she respects, wears only what she loves and covets the things that become signatures of her personal style. Our brand’s vision is Tradition Transformed—Ms. Moore is just that to us.” Moore, who is shooting the new spot this week, will be captured by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and featured in Talbots’ store windows and catalog, as well as spring issues of magazines. And while she probably won’t bare as much skin as she did in her exotic ads for Bulgari, we can’t wait to see Moore light up Talbots’ new campaign! –Jessie Goldberg
