Oh, ‘Baby’! Justin Bieber to Unleash His Signature Scent

Sipa

After morphing into an action figure and adding his sparkle to nail polish, Justin Bieber is giving fans one more way to catch Bieber Fever — this time putting his own spin on scent with a debut signature fragrance. The mop-topped singer has just announced that he’ll launch My World, a unisex scent that will be produced not in bottles but instead infused into wristbands and dog tags, WWD reports. “They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today,” Justin told the publication on Friday. “One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good.” While the bergamot, lychee, pomegranate, cedar and musk scent is all his own, he wasn’t shy about giving props to the love-at-first-sniff scents of another pop sensation. “I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls. It smells good,” he said. My World will come in four designs–Icon, Energy, Tour and Web–which fans can sniff for themselves when the they launch exclusively at Walmart on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) for $10 a pop. What do you think of Justin creating a fragrance? Will you try My World?–Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Justin Bieber is obviously one of the most popular people in the entire country right now it and it is really smart of him to be launching all of these new products. But I can’t help but to think that all the products he is putting out there are kind of strange. First and action figure…okay I guess some obsessed girls will buy that. Next he puts out a line of finger nail polish, which is starting to get a little strange. Why would a young male pop singer be putting out a line of finger nail polish? I can almost guarantee that he doesn’t wear finger nail polish. Finally is perfume, a unisex perfume nonetheless. I understand that he is appealing to his audience, which is pretty much all girls but maybe they could think of some better ideas?

Nail polish is brilliant! Think of who is audience is. . . . Young, PREPUBESCENT girls who wear nail polish. It’s brilliant.

Ridiculous. Boys his age have a hard enough time remembering to put on deodorant much less a cologne.
