Who Wears Her Smiley Sleeves Better: Katy Perry or Paris Hilton?

We’ve heard of wearing your heart on your sleeve, but we’ve never actually ventured to wear an emoticon! On Thursday, Paris Hilton visited an L.A. costume shop festively dressed in a top with spherical smile sleeves, braided driver’s cap and two festooned pups. And though the animated look might seem unique to the heiress, Katy Perry wore the very same top over a year ago! While performing at the Manchester academy in the U.K last February, the quirky pop star styled the same enthusiastic sleeves with a polka-dotted swing skirt, bow-adorned tap shoes and a Betty Page bob. Its bad on both but Katy can get away with it.

May I vote for neither? They both look ridiculous! I really hope this ‘trend’ doesn’t catch on… I’m all for smiley faces, but not as sleeves… ISH!

Ashley on

Paris definitely!

Really on

Cute on ages 1-6.

This is not a good look. Not even for the eccentric Katy Perry. I would have to Paris Hilton.

L on

I find them both to be especially vile

Dislike. It reminds me of the Walmart commercials with the Smiley face icon..
