All About Odette Yustman's Wedding Bling!

For Odette Yustman, less was more when it came to picking out jewelry for her October 10th Ojai, Calif., nuptials to Brothers and Sisters star Dave Annable. “We didn’t want to do a lot of jewelry because she is already so elegant and pretty,” celebrity jeweler Neil Lane tells PEOPLE. “Just some sparkle by her ears and in her hair so she’d have a magical look as she walked down the aisle.” In the end, Yustman donned 10 carats of Neil Lane diamond pear-shaped drop earrings and 30-carat diamond and platinum barrettes, valued at over $300,000. “She is such a beautiful, fun girl and she was so excited for her wedding,” says Lane. “To celebrate who Odette is, we wanted the look to be elegant and glamorous, befitting young Hollywood, without being over the top.” Did the You Again star pull it off? Absolutely, says one wedding guest, “She was an incredibly gorgeous bride!” - Elizabeth Leonard

Umm, slow news day? Who are these people?

Alex on

Dude! That’s the hot guy from Brothers and Sisters!

Ridiculous. 50% of all marriages end up in divorce within 5 years, and yet society lords this “marriage” thing over us, as if to say if you’re in a committed relationship but haven’t signed any legal papers, your relationship is somehow invalidated. If people would get off this white poofy dress and 10ct. diamond ring fantasy train, maybe men and women would get along much better.

So congratulations, unknown “celebrities”, on your marriage. We’ll be waiting for the divorce soon.

Kirsten on

She’s the girl from Cloverfield.

Katie on

Wow “me”…a little bitter aren’t you? Maybe you should stop judging what choices others make and work on yourself.

vsw on

easy with the negativity people. how about trying to be happy for others – whether you know them or not. they happen to be fairly successful actors. and it seems as though some of you are bitter that you’re not married (giving a stat about the longevity of marriage? come on!!!) SMILE!!

Sabo on

She was on the show called ‘On October Road’ several years ago and he’s Justin on ‘Brothers and Sisters’. Best wishes to this beautiful couple.

chris on

I agree with Katie. “ME” you sound like you have a few issues of your own to deal with. A smile and happy thoughts go a long way.
I love Brothers & Sisters, and wish the couple all the happiness in the world.

sandy on

brothers and sisters is pretty good, dont love his character though…

THIS IS TO “ME” you certainly had a lot to say for someone who read the article just like everyone else….curious why you even bothered, but I guess i could say the same thing about “pam” if you didn’t know who they were and could care less, why did you even bother to read it…you said Ummm, slow news day? Guess we could say that about you..Ummm, slow life?

Jen on

hahahahaha

Pam on

Alex and Kirsten –thanks for the clarification. I don’t watch Brothers and Sisters and I never saw October Road so that is why I have never seen these people I guess.

Al, I am indeed having a hard earned “slow life” today. You should try it –or maybe a couple of Valium, lol.

To “me” who wrote: “Ridiculous. 50% of all marriages end up in divorce within 5 years, and yet society lords this “marriage” thing over us, as if to say if you’re in a committed relationship but haven’t signed any legal papers…”, you are nuts and egocentric. When people get married, it is about two people loving each other and a wedding does not mean that those relationships that don’t have weddings are insignificant. No one cares whether or not you get married. People choose to marry because they want to say to the world they love each other and a wedding is how they choose to do that. You don’t have to. No one asks you to. And if you don’t like reading about “celebrities” marriages, stop going to people.com.

Kim on

“Me” is obviously ticked off because their partner won’t commit. LOL!

Congrats to this couple..even though I haven’t a clue who they are.

al on

pam, i had no idea who they were either but since they are PEOPLE..in “PEOPLE Magazine”…guess my point was that whether you know who they are or not, doesn’t qualify whether it’s news or not~I suggest you read the article and then you will KNOW…as far as valium go? I already live the “slow life” everyday. I’m married, don’t need to work and have all the time in the world. YOU should try it

Meems on

She was on October Road… A very good show that was cancelled, he started out on the show Reunion, another very good show that was cancelled and now on Brothers & Sisters.

Courtney on

Uh the divorce rate has been more than 50% for 34 years and some celebrities do stay married more way more than 5 years. Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti were married for 41 years before he passed away or Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward were married nearly 51 years when he passed away two years ago. or are you going to reject those examples because both men left their first wives and children to be with their second wives and have more kids though both Sophia & Joanne had at least one miscarriage before having children.

Pam on

Hi Al,

It’s in the “news” section, hence the comment about a slow news day, and frankly, you really should consider either the valium or perhaps some therapy. You are completely overreacting to statements that people you will never meet have made on a message board (though you are hardly alone there), but your response that you’re married and “don’t need to work” is telling. If you’re not working, you might consider doing so –it could very well help you to form your own identity. I too am fortunate that I don’t have to earn a living anymore, but I work 5-6 days a week as a volunteer. Sounds like you indeed have “all the time in the world”, but very little to do with it. Seriously, get a life, lol.

Good luck!

In the words of the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn (as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s): “Personally, I think it’s a bit tacky to wear diamonds before I’m 40.”

Hey “Me” – bitter much????

Congrats to Dave & Odette. Love me some Justin on Brothers & Sisters, his character has grown and evolved more than any other on the show. Glad he’s found happiness to go with his acting successes!

al on

Pretty secure in my identity pam, I dont have time to volunteer because i welcomed a friend who is dying of cancer so i could care for him in his last few months..So I’d say I’m pretty secure in who I am as a person..Getting a life? well i’ll just make his life the best it can be as long as he has. I choose that to be my LIFE right now..How did you have time to respond with all your “volunteering”

Pam on

Well Al, the simple answer is as I said before, it’s because I am indeed having a well earned “slow day”. In fact everything I have said has been in response to some (initially unsolicited) remark that you made. Good for you for opening your home to your dying friend; that is a very stressful situation. I sincerely hope you both have much quality time together.

-Pam

al on

thank you pam, that was sweet to say i know you meant that.

Pam on

Hi Al,

I truly did. It’s very, very stressful to support someone the way that you are, and the long goodbye is truly a hard one. I am sending you (both) all the positive thoughts I can and I hope when your friend does pass on that you are left with many happy memories. I am sure you will be.

Peace out.

-Pam

Nice information. Thank :)

Not too happy about this pairing. I really, really liked him with Emily VanCamp. Hate that she’s leaving the show, probably because her/Dave broke up and now he’s married. Still holding out hope, though, wait five years and see, right “ME”?
