For Odette Yustman, less was more when it came to picking out jewelry for her October 10th Ojai, Calif., nuptials to Brothers and Sisters star Dave Annable. “We didn’t want to do a lot of jewelry because she is already so elegant and pretty,” celebrity jeweler Neil Lane tells PEOPLE. “Just some sparkle by her ears and in her hair so she’d have a magical look as she walked down the aisle.” In the end, Yustman donned 10 carats of Neil Lane diamond pear-shaped drop earrings and 30-carat diamond and platinum barrettes, valued at over $300,000. “She is such a beautiful, fun girl and she was so excited for her wedding,” says Lane. “To celebrate who Odette is, we wanted the look to be elegant and glamorous, befitting young Hollywood, without being over the top.” Did the You Again star pull it off? Absolutely, says one wedding guest, “She was an incredibly gorgeous bride!” - Elizabeth Leonard

Alex and Kirsten –thanks for the clarification. I don’t watch Brothers and Sisters and I never saw October Road so that is why I have never seen these people I guess.

Al, I am indeed having a hard earned “slow life” today. You should try it –or maybe a couple of Valium, lol.

To “me” who wrote: “Ridiculous. 50% of all marriages end up in divorce within 5 years, and yet society lords this “marriage” thing over us, as if to say if you’re in a committed relationship but haven’t signed any legal papers…”, you are nuts and egocentric. When people get married, it is about two people loving each other and a wedding does not mean that those relationships that don’t have weddings are insignificant. No one cares whether or not you get married. People choose to marry because they want to say to the world they love each other and a wedding is how they choose to do that. You don’t have to. No one asks you to. And if you don’t like reading about “celebrities” marriages, stop going to people.com.

“Me” is obviously ticked off because their partner won’t commit. LOL!

Congrats to this couple..even though I haven’t a clue who they are.

pam, i had no idea who they were either but since they are PEOPLE..in “PEOPLE Magazine”…guess my point was that whether you know who they are or not, doesn’t qualify whether it’s news or not~I suggest you read the article and then you will KNOW…as far as valium go? I already live the “slow life” everyday. I’m married, don’t need to work and have all the time in the world. YOU should try it

She was on October Road… A very good show that was cancelled, he started out on the show Reunion, another very good show that was cancelled and now on Brothers & Sisters.

Uh the divorce rate has been more than 50% for 34 years and some celebrities do stay married more way more than 5 years. Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti were married for 41 years before he passed away or Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward were married nearly 51 years when he passed away two years ago. or are you going to reject those examples because both men left their first wives and children to be with their second wives and have more kids though both Sophia & Joanne had at least one miscarriage before having children.

Hi Al,

It’s in the “news” section, hence the comment about a slow news day, and frankly, you really should consider either the valium or perhaps some therapy. You are completely overreacting to statements that people you will never meet have made on a message board (though you are hardly alone there), but your response that you’re married and “don’t need to work” is telling. If you’re not working, you might consider doing so –it could very well help you to form your own identity. I too am fortunate that I don’t have to earn a living anymore, but I work 5-6 days a week as a volunteer. Sounds like you indeed have “all the time in the world”, but very little to do with it. Seriously, get a life, lol.

Good luck!

In the words of the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn (as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s): “Personally, I think it’s a bit tacky to wear diamonds before I’m 40.”

Hey “Me” – bitter much????

Congrats to Dave & Odette. Love me some Justin on Brothers & Sisters, his character has grown and evolved more than any other on the show. Glad he’s found happiness to go with his acting successes!
