Looks like someone isn’t cheating on her diet! Jennifer Hudson, who recently revealed that she’s lost an additional 20 lbs. since April, appeared even more svelte at the seventh annual Black Ball for her Keep a Child Alive foundation in New York on Thursday. The Weight Watchers spokesperson, dressed in a stunning strapless black gown, clearly had a blast on the red carpet as she flaunted her figure for the photographers. Earlier this month, Hudson, 29, said she’s still getting used to her new look. “I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and I’m like [she looks over both shoulders] ‘Who are you trying to talk to?’” says the former size 16 star.

Wow, she looks great!

Annette on

Yea she looks great!! Buttttt sooner or later she will get tired of the weight watchers food. She might gain like 5-10lbs at the most just like that other girl who used to be fat? Sara Rue she’s on Jenny Craig yea as long as you eat that food all the time you will stay small but as soon as you go back to regular food it always creeps back!!I went from a 10 to a 6 with the help of the gym and portion control.STOP EATTING WHEN YOUR FULL NOT STUFFED AND YOU’LL LOSE THE WEIGHT

resa on

Must be nice when you have money for trainers and to be paid to lose weight… and if she is losing weight she should stop already if she is wearing a size 4 and 6… she doesn’t even know how to hold herself up…

norma on

The young tripple threat super star is looking very gorgeous going through her new transformation. Jennifer Hudson is doing her thing and she is doing it her way. I love her warm spirit and very big heart.

angela on

she looks great! but wtf is all over w/her legs?

Stacey on

Woah! She totally looks like Naomi Campbell’s twin!

M. on

I think JH looks fabulous. Just to let you know, Weight Watchers is about portion control and not eating until you are stuffed. Weight Watchers markets food, but it is not required for the program. Weight Watchers is about real food, maybe do some research next time.

Kim on

resa, just because she has trainers, she still has to do the work. A trainer doesn’t magically take weight off you unless you put in the time and effort. Put down your ice cream and try it. Congrats to Jennifer for taking control..she looks great!

KayDee on

Annette – you should look into Weight Watchers — you don’t have to eat any specific kind of food (nothing prepackaged if you don’t want to)…It’s a point system based on cals, fat and fiber, so you can eat anything you want, as long as you calculate points and stay in your range. She will do fine as long as she stays in her maintenance range. Great Job Jennifer!! You look beautiful!

Sheena on

SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!

resa, you don’t need money for trainers etc., i have been going to the gym since January and lost 44lbs. i still eat normal foods and i don’t consider it “cheating” to endulge every once in awhile, i work hard and it’s more about calories in vs. calories out (i.e. burned). And actually i did work with a trainer a few times, most gyms offer specials, i got to work with one 3 times for an hour for $99. ($33 a session, cheaper than most charge hourly). by doing this, i was able to write down exercises and notes and the trainer wasn’t all about getting me to commit to more sessions. another route is talking to others that work out at the gym. most people, even guys are excited to share the knowledge of getting fit since they are proud of their accomplishments. i have done weight watchers and jenny craig, and to me personally it is a fast fix. weight watchers you can actually eat normal food too, you just have to count points. tedious but what i figured out, it really just ends up teaching you portion control and how to make better choices!! :-)

Nadine on

Weight Watchers food is “real food”. Yes they do make frozen products but I am sure Jennifer isn’t living on them. Jenny Craig will try to keep you eating their food because that’s how they make money. I’ve lost over 65 pounds on WW. I eat whatever I like, just less of it. And I am satisfied. WW is about eating properly.

crystal on

well said nadine! i also don’t like all the sodium etc in the meals and snacks. if i want a cookie, i want a “real” cookie! ;-) i know WW sometimes is about accountability, showing up to meetings and weighing in makes you want work hard!don’t want to show up and weigh more, lol..that would suck! good job on that 65!!

angie on

Weight watchers doesn’t supple any special food. You eat whatever you want and count it as points. Nothing is off limits!

Erin on

Damn Resa… jealous much??? She looks great and I don’t care how she lost it! Maybe you should quit eat bon-bons and get up and get moving!

Annette get your facts straight on

Annette, Weight watchers has various already packaged food but Weight Watchers is about a lifestyle change and learning to cook better food and have portion control.

You shouldn’t be eating only the prepackaged foods, you should be learning to make healther foods on your own too.

Please at least know a little something about the program before you complain about it. People like you are the reason some veer away from a program that really works.

JH is a phony on

She must have a new movie or something coming up, that’s the only time she really plugs Weight Watchers. She’s even commented about that and backtracked in an interview a few months ago.

Abby on

To Annette…weight watchers AND Jenny Craig work IF the clients follow what they are taught. As for Sara Rue having to eat jenny Craig food all the time…that is untrue. Once a client reaches mid-point, their advisor teaches them how to cook for themselves by weaning them off of the food two days at a time until they are preparing their own foods. Been there done that and have kept off my weight for 10 years because I listened and learned.

Adrian on

She looks amazing… no ifs, buts or anything that takes away from how far she has come! Keep up the great work… Haters will be haters…

michele on

I had to write to say that on the Weight Watchers plan you NEVER have to eat a WW food product if you choose not to. Unlike Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem etc., you only eat the foods you wish to eat.

Linda on

Annette, Weight Watchers IS about eating regular food. You can eat whatever you want on Weight Watchers, provided you don’t eat more than the points allotted to you. You can eat your daily points in chocolate bars if you want to, but the majority who join WW don’t do that, because they’re sick of feeling sluggish and unhealthy. WW is all about managing how much you eat but there are no special foods, forbidden foods, special drinks, shakes, pills, etc. WW is about as common sense as it gets.

annie on

stacy, thats who i thought it was when i clicked on the article!

Patty on

She’s totally redoing her entire being. That’s the sign of a sick mind! She needs to loosen the lap band before she does some serious damage to her organs!

Bria on

She looks great! You can actually see the shape of her body. I agee that no matter how much money you do or don’t spend, weight loss sucess is all about self control. Just because you have a personal chef doesn’t mean you won’t get take out when they leave.Just because you can hire a personal trainer doesn’t mean you will always workout as much as you should. It all starts and ends with YOU.

Why do people think you eat weight watcher foods, You don’t have to eat Weight Watcher foods. You eat whatever you want but count the points you get for the items you eat.You can eat anything and everything. It is a great program. You eat very healthy on the program. I was on it and lost 54 pounds and became a size 4/6. It is a great program to lose weight on and I would recommend it to anyone.

Tammy on

There is no such thing as “Weight Watchers Food.” People on WW eat what they buy at the grocery store.
I think she looks great – quit raining on her parade, people!

jessicajuliette on

she does look like Naoim’s twin in this photo..

the weight loss looks great on her though

Linda on

In response to Annette. Weight Watchers is not like Jenny Craig or Nutri System. You don’t have to eat Weight Watchers “food”. You can eat ANY food you want as long as it fits into your plan. Weight Watchers teaches you portion control and how to make the right food choices. So Jennifer Hudson will most likely keep the weight off because Weight Watchers is NOT a diet it’s a life style change.

Valencia on

Wish she looked like Jennifer Hudson still. Come on — what is the goal???

Ashleigh on

People forget…”weight watcher food” is not like Jenny Craig. Weight Watchers teaches you about portion control and picking the right foods with the right nutrients. This is a lifestyle and you can still live your life normal!

Lisamaria on

Wow..she looks so different!! I hope she can keep it off…that is the hardest part. I have lost weight so many times and gained it back every time. So annoying!

Barbara on

Looks to me like she had some work done on her face. She just dosen’t have that beautiful Jennifer Hudson face.

DeS on

Weight watchers does not require you to eat Weight Watchers food. It is point system and you can eat grocery store and restaurant food on it. So as long as you track your food points you can eat whatever you want…within limits of course : ) It is a lifestyle change not a diet.

Stefanie on

I think she looks great! It is so hard to lose weight and keep it off. I hope she continues to do good. Weight Watchers is about portion control. I have done it. It does get tiring always counting points but you do get to eat your own food. As long as you exercise and eat right you’ll lose, but that’s easier said than done. God bless!

L on

She looks amazing! @ Angela who cares about her damn legs?!! Must we always find something wring with a woman? For god sakes.

Angela on

Weight watchers is regular food. You just manage the portions you eat. Maybe you should read about the program before you put it down.

a on

People look into Weight Watchers before you comment! It is about portion control. It is not about buying their food. So Annette read or look into it first.

Congrats Jennifer! You look great. All these haters on here. Unbelievable :(

Katelyn on

WOW! She looks AMAZING!!

SJ on

Annette….on weight watchers, you eat whatever you want, they just teach you moderation. She will do just fine. I think she looks fantastic!

Margie on

Weight Watchers is not about a specific food, it’s about portion control with normal food. Good for Jennifer to stick with it!!

Jennifer on

Jennifer looks fabulous. Weight watchers is a great program. You dont have to eat their foods to lose weight. Their system is based on everyday foods with point values or the core program. The leaders themselves will tell you to not too many of the boxed processed foods because too many is not good for you.

Debbbb on

That’s great and now to real news, real people..like mothers who don’t have nannies, maids, chefs and most important…TIME.

Nuff said!

Kristin on

Not totally sure what someone who wears a size 4 looks like, but it isn’t her! She looks more like a 10 or 12? I think people who lose weight like to exaggerate what size they think they can wear, but it probably isn’t accurate. Either way, good for her. Weight Watchers works and is easy. Just need to stick to it.

Meghann on

Um, she’s still a big girl on the bottom. I wear a 4 and there’s no way we wear the same size.

I’ve followed the WW program for over a year and a half now and have NEVER consumed a “pre-packaged” WW product. As mention earlier, it’s all about portion control and making a necessary lifestyle change (eliminating fatty foods).

louise on

For the person who said Jennifer Hudson will get sick of Weight Watchers food, you know nothing about Weight Watchers.

Yes WW sells prepackaged foods, but the plan is about learning to eat real food. And in no part of being on plan are you ever required to purchase WW foods. I have been on WW since 1998. It is a change in lifestyle. Those who are successful know that they have to change the way they eat for the rest of their lives. And that is why for 12 years that is the way I live.

I am a teacher who runs marathons and loves to eat. But I make choices every day about eating what is best for me. Every day eating the right foods is a struggle. Cake tastes good, but do I want cake more than I want to be healthy.

J on

I have to agree with some of the responses here. Jennifer, let me tell you Sweetie, you look GREAT. Losing weight is difficult, it’s a tough thing to do. I lost 70 lbs with Weight Watchers. They do have pre-packaged food and they have the WW brands in the grocery stores, but that does not mean that you have to buy them, much less consume them. They do have them, because all the points are already calculated and takes the guess work out of it. Good for Jennifer for doing it the healthy way. No lap banding, no Gastric bypass or gastric stapling. May JH be an inspiration to all women

Jessica on

She looks like a bobble head. She should have never lost the last 20lbs. She went to far.

jules on

i think it is great the jennifer has lost so much weight but i don’t think it looks natural on her being as thin as she is

Natasha on

Annette, Weight Watchers isn’t a diet based on pre-manufactured food. They have a few products, but they are not required or necessary. It is portion control diet and a lifestyle.

Jinx on

@Annette-actually unlike Jenny Craig…Weight Watchers does not make you purchase their food products. They actually encourage eating regular foods but they teach protion control through their points system and they advocate exercise. Weight Watchers is not a gimmick diet, it actually works. I lost 35 lbs on the program and have been off of it since July in an attempt to conceive and haven’t gained one lb back. Clearly you don’t know what you’re talking about. Jennifer Hudson is no more at risk for regain than you are.

Dawn on

Annette, You don’t eat “certain” foods with weight watchers like with Jenny Craig and others. Weight watchers lets you eat whatever you want just the better you eat the more you are allowed for the day. I think Jennifer looks fantastic and look at the years she’s probably adding to her life being healthy. Trainers or not, keep it up Jennifer!

Annette you must not know about Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. ( just read both sites ) on WW you eat your own food. You do NOT have to eat any of the packaged foods. Its all on a point system. And with Jenny Craig once you hit your goal you dont have to stay on their food. Its all about eating properly. Way to slam someone for doing something good.

Phineas on

Annette,
Weight Watchers is based on portion control with food in your home. So she’s already eating regular full and not stuffing herself. Maybe you should do some research before acting as if you are the expert on the weight loss programs. Lol.

mary on

When will the “no hose” rule end. Ms Hudson looks wonderful until you get to her legs. Black hose would have covered up their spotty appearance. Then there are a host of “stars” whose boney knees, rising tendons and other leg-trastifies that could be erased who insist on what has become the necessary chic no hose toes.
Really ladies. Shoes without socks are a pain in the foot, and you’d look better in nylon than you would you do without em.

Jessica on

my mom is on weight watchers and it’s about counting points and staying within your point range….my mom eats normal food, not weight watchers food. and still manages to lose weight. she also exercises. weight watchers isn’t like jenny craig at all.

Kacey on

She looks fantastic….and Annette- WW doesn’t have thier own food- you learn how to eat healthy..so she will be fine!

Cate on

Annette–Weight Watchers allows you to eat whatever you want…just gives you a limit (which limits the amount you eat. Perhaps a bit more research before you post.

julie on

I’ve been successful on WW for 3 years, at my goal weight for 2 of them. I have only bought pre-packaged in a true pinch, otherwise I cook, eat out at restaurants and go to friend’s parties just like everyone else. JHud is a perfect example of a great program, and she looks Amazing! Oh, and WW online is cheap. It costs less per month than a gym membership or the meds I used to take!

Amber on

Umm…who is that? It most certainly doesn’t look like Jennifer Hudson.

Amanda on

Pamela Riddle on

Just so you know — Weight Watchers DOES sell food products in the grocery stores but they encourage and stress eating FRESH, WHOLESOME UNPROCESSED FOODS — Unlike Jenny Craig. You do NOT have to eat Weight Watchers foods to be on the Weight Watchers plan. Be informed before making a comment, please.

Pamela Riddle on

Jennifer: You look GREAT and Weight Watchers is the best plan out there — good choice!!

Dee on

I wish people would research things and know what they are talking about before commenting. WW is not about eating “their” food. Yes they have meals but you don’t have to buy them. You can eat “regular” foods…anything you want. You are getting this program mixed up with Jenny Craig. Now that is program where you have to eat “their” foods.

Annette on

WOW!!! I HAD NO IDEA HOW POPULAR I WOULD BE ABOUT MY COMMENT.DID’NT KNOW WEIGHT WATCHERS HAD NO FOOD TO EAT WHEN I GO TO THE GROCERY STORE IN THE FREEZER SECTION IS WHAT I SEE.HMM OK SO I WAS WRONG ABOUT THAT ONE.I’M NOT SAYING SHE DOES’NT LOOK GOOD SHE DOES LOOK AWESOME I JUST HOPE SHE CAN KEEP IT OFF!! SOME PEOPLE GAIN THE WEIGHT BACK! I SAID SOME NOT ALL!! I LOST MY WEIGHT WATCHING WHAT I EAT,WORKING OUT,BUT MOST OF ALL PORTION CONTROL WITHOUT THE HELP OF WEIGHT WATCHER’S IT’S A CHOICE BE FIT OR THE OTHER I WON’T SAY THE WORD BUT IT BEGINS WITH “F” IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT SORRY CAN’T PLEASE EVERYONE THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED OPINON AND EVERYONE HAS ONE.

raindrop0411 on

OMG what is wrong with some of you people? Why should anyone decide how much weight she should lose or what you think she should look like? There is no way she is still a 10 or 12. It’s obvious she feels great! That is the important thing. I have never seen so much jealousy on one post in my life. I think she deserves a big congratulations. Weight loss is hard. She probably does have a nanny, but she probably has an extremely busy schedule too.

Linda on

“Buttttt sooner or later she will get tired of the weight watchers food????”

WW is not a diet, you get to eat REAL food. Nothing is prepackaged Its all about portion control, there’s no over or done. Jennifer clearly gets this. Its not brain surgery. Eat less, move more.

She looks great!

Heather on

Annette – You obviously know Nothing about Weight Watchers, because “Weight Watcher’s Food” is food that everyone eats! They teach you how to make responsible choices and learn about yourself and what you’re eating. I guess for you, ignorance is bliss!

Chris on

Love the way the critics come out of the woodwork every time something positive is written. Is it a reflex?

Best of luck to Jennifer.

Chris

carolann on

Annette, you obviously know nothing about WW. There is no “Weight Watchers” food. Weight Watchers is a support program for people with weight issues that teaches you how to eat healthy foods in proper portions and create small changes in your lifestyle that will help you meet your weight loss goals and to do so in a way that is sustainable. Make sure that you educate yourself before you start making broad-based statements. WW is NOT a diet and not all programs are created equally!

Margie on

One thing you need to know about weight watchers is you DO eat regular food. EVERYDAY! You just learn portion control and how to cook healthier on weight watchers. I exercise 30 minutes a day and count my points (calculated using dietary fiber, calories, and fat) and I’ve lost 30 lbs so far. Yes it costs $40 a month to go to the meeting, be weighted in, and learn how to do change your life style and your relationship with food… Nevertheless, you don’t’ have to be rich to do it, just serious about changing your life! :)

Wendy on

Annette… there is no “weight watchers food” for JHud to get sick of. They eat normal, everyday food, unlike Nutrisystem, etc.

Jen on

Weight watchers is an awesome program for anyone looking for a lifestyle change. It teaches you how to eat right so you can keep the weight off. I have been on ww since Feb and have lost 55 pounds. I have 24 more to go. I am so glad for Jennifer to have taken control of herself. It’s something I can relate to, and I find it to be just another reason to admire this woman.

carebear on

Becki on

Um, Annette, Weight Watchers teaches you to eat until you’re full and no more. Yes, they have their own brand of food that you can purchase in a grocery store, but they do not direct you to only eat their food. Weight Watchers encourages people to limit their portions and eat healthy foods.

Annette on

BECKI,LINDA,WENDY LIKE I SAID I WAS WRONG,I UNDERSTAND WHAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT NOW! OMG!! WOW THIS WEIGHT WATCHER’S THING HAS REALLY RUBBED PEOPLE THE WRONG WAY!! NOT FOR SOMEONE TO TEACH YOU SOMETHING YOUR REALLY OUGHT TO KNOW ANYWAY!!!GET A LIFE AND STOP PUTTING UP THE SAME OLE COMMENTS!!!LATER!!

JENNIFER LOOKS FABULOUS AND I HOPE SHE CONTINUES THE WORK. HOWEVER AS ANOHTER BLACK WOMAN WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT BEING A SIZE 4 OR 6, THAT IS NOT ALWAYS REALISTIC FOR OUR BODIES. BEING SKINY DOESNOT MEAN YOU ARE HEALTHY AND IN SHAPE. FOR MOVIESATRS AND ENTERTAINERS THEY MAY NEED TO BE SMALLER FOR THE CAMERAS. MANY TUMES THE AVERAGE PERSON INSPIRE TO LOOK LIKE ENTERTAINERS AND WE DON’T REALIZE REAL BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN. LIVING HEALTHY AND LOVING OURSELVES IS THEY KEY.

elsie on

well weight watchers is different than Jenny craig and Nutri system because you are not eating process food you are just basically counting calories because they assign you a certain amount of points to each day and you have to look at what you eat and count the number that is assign to that particular food and that’s basically it, I think she looks great and I wish her the best

Kate on

Seriously, I think Annette gets the point. Jeez.

I firmly believe that weight watchers is the best way to lose weight. It’s all about eating healthy foods, portion control and exercise while allowing yourself to have fun every once in awhile too. The weight doesn’t come off fast, but it does come off. Go Jennifer!

D on

Annette- WW is about counting points, calories, portion control, eating healthy and exercising. You don’t have to eat WW food products to lose on their program. You should look into it before you comment. Jennifer looks great and gave me the motivation to join. I’m down 22 lbs since July-only 33 to go reach my goal!

carol peske on

There is no “Weight Watchers food.” She can eat anything she wants within reason as long as she sticks to her daily points. Anybody can do Weight Watchers. You don’t have to be rich and have a personal trainer!

Lisa on

TO ANNETTE AND OTHER NAYSAYERS: On WW, you eat real, ordinary food, nothing prepackaged. You can buy their brand of breads, treats, yogurt, etc. in the grocery store, but you do NOT have to eat only WW to lose on the program. It’s sensible and easy. I lost 22 lbs. on WW (post-40 fat), and have maintained the loss for a long time. I eat normal food, exercise moderately, and still get plenty of chocolate in my diet! WW WORKS!

Babs on

Gosh, Weight Watchers is misunderstood. You can’t get tired of WW food, you don’t eat only WW products, you don’t have to eat any WW products — not one crumb! I’ve lost 32 pounds since last winter making all my own delicious meals and on occasion eating out or at friends’. It’s all about portion control, exercise and points (a formula that assigns points based on calories, fat and fiber). It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet. Educate yourself! It’s fine if something else suits you, but don’t knock WW with falsehoods!

INVA on

I hate to pile on – however, to the people who keep talking about Weight Watchers and their food, you could not be more uninformed. The Weight Watchers plan is with all “real food”. It IS NOT like Jenny Craig and you are not required to purchase or eat any WW products. Yes, Weight Watchers does endorse some foods and now makes some foods under their name (you will see them on the shelves at your regular grocery store) such as breads, ice cream, yogurt, etc. They would be ridiculous not to sell some of their own foods. I lost a significant amount of weight with WW and with the exception of the ice creams which are delicious I have never purchased the WW foods as they are not necessary. Also, Annette, congrats on going from a size 10 to a 6 – so you must know how difficult it would be to go from a 16 to a 4 or 6 size. There really isn’t a need for you to try to find some flaw with her weight loss program to make yourself feel better. Everyone should do whatever works for them without judgement.

Good job on

I think she looks great. More than just losing weight for appearance sake, it’s such a benefit to one’s health to lose extra weight.

I love weight watchers, it makes sense. It teaches you to eat out, how to eat healthy at home, and yes you can use their food, but plenty of options without their food. Emphasis on healthy food options and exercise. Jenny Craig seems unrealistic, because its not healthy to eat mac and cheese, and brownies from jenny craig and then go back to real life and eat those same foods and expect to be the same size.

Elizabeth on

With Weight Watchers you do eat regular food. You don’t have to buy prepackaged meals and it is about portion control, Anette. Jennifer looks great and I’m sure she’s proud of what she’s accomplished

Sunny on

Annette, the Weight Watchers program doesn’t have it’s own food like Jenny Craig offers. It is based on portion control, healthy eating of regular grocery store food and regular exercise. The people in these weight loss commercials act like they lost all of that weight just by eating whatever brand of food they’re a spokesperson for but never bother to mention the hours they spend with a personal trainer and all of the hours they spend in a gym. I can’t exercise much (but I do walk) because of a bad back and I have lost 50 pounds just by changing my eating habits. I feel that all of these weight loss ads are misleading because they don’t talk about all of the exercising they do and just make it sound like they dropped all of the weight just because of the food. Like Annette said, once they stop eating their “diet” food and go back to “normal” food they have a good chance of putting the weight back on. Just change your eating habits and be mindful of what you’re putting in your body. Like when you walk through the kitchen and grab a cookie when you’re not even hungry and probably don’t even realize just how many cookies and snacks you actually do grab without thinking about it. Eat slower, choose your food more wisely, and be aware of what you eat. You really don’t need all of the weight watchers and Jenny Craig plans. Just sayin’…

Sure…any rich celebrity can lose weight with the endorsements coming their way..it takes real determination and desire to lose the weight. You have to truly want it and work hard for it, most important, do it on your own.

Jill on

Yeah, Annette, Weight Watchers doesn’t have food it distributes to its clients. They do have food at grocery stores, however. Jennifer has done this all on her own with support from Weight Watchers, she has learned to turn her life around by eating proper portions and staying away from fatty foods. There’s no “food” to get sick of. go Jennifer! She’s inspiring!!!

CK on

Annette, there is no weightwatchers food. The diet is based on the consumption of normal food. Each mcnugget (for example) is assigned a certain point value. For each one eaten, that point value is deducted from the points per day (which is specific to each individual). Every type of food has a point value. Weight watchers does manufacture food, however their diet is not limited to it. Check it out!

Losing weight is not a { Miracle Tour }My hats off to Ms. Jennifer – you just need to pray for guidence and any change in eating habits can change for a lifetime.

Elizabeth on

annnette—you’re WRONG! there is no such thing as Weight watchers food…you eat normal regular food on weight watchers that’s why it is the most highly successful and recommended program out there!

Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely incredible. Especially after all that she has been through. Not only do I think that she looks like a healthier person but you can tell that she is genuinely happy as well. She is someone that people should look up to if they want to loose weight. Nowadays people are trying to loose weight in very dangerous and inappropriate ways. It has gotten so bad that it has been teaching young girls that it is socially accepted to loose weight in those ways. It takes a lot of patience and self-respect to get to your ideal goal weight, but everyone can do it if they put their mind to it. I have lost 35 pounds in the past, I would still like to loose more but I just have to start working hard and set a goal and it will be accomplished.

Elizabeth THANKS SOOOO MUCH FOR THE INFO I DID NOT KNOW THAT!! WOW!!!! YOU CAN KISS MY A@@ I LOST MY WEIGHT “WITHOUT PAYING SOMEONE ELSE TO WEIGH ME AND TELL HOW MUCH AND WHAT KIND OF FOOD I SHOULD BE EATTING!!! HEARD IT BEFORE YOUR COMMENTS ARE NO DIFFERENT THEN THE OTHER 11 PAGES OF COMMENTS LEFT FOR ME!! GO GET A LIFE!!!

weightg watchers is not food it’s a healthy diet that breaks down into points and determines how points a certain weight or body type should eat a day to lose weight. As long as you can change you lifestyle and mind set you can keep the weight off. this is not nutrsystem or jenny craig-though i have kept off 25 lbs after starting on nutrissytem for nearly 3 years-good luck jenn-you look AMAZING!!!!!!

Tanyia on

She looks awesome. Just a footnote; Weight Watchers doesn’t require you eat “their” food. They have snacks as tools to help along the way, but there is no specific food requirement with this program. I am a lifetime member and have lost 65 pounds eating anything I want, but in moderation. I make healthy choices in most of my routine with times for a treat day. Keep up the great work, Jennifer!

Mel on

She looks great and as a Weight Watchers member – it does work because you can eat whatver you want. I’ve lost 12lbs since joining and it’s like any other diet or eating plan – you have to stick with it and you have to be aware of what you’re eating. I can honestly believe she did this without fancy trainers or cooks.

Annette,

Why are you so angry that people have used weight watchers. Isn’t the point to lose the weight. Kudos to you for doing it by yourself. But maybe there are people who love the comradrie of being with people in the same boat as them and who can offer suggestions on recipes or snacks or even on exercise. I really don’t care how people lose the weight as long as they do it. Your Im better than you because I did it by myself sentiment really misses the point. IMO.

Marilyn on

Jennifer looks great, I have lost overy ninety pounds since the first part of January. I lost over thirty pounds by die and exercise.I had gastric bypass surgery in July and have lost more weight. I exercise at least twice a day just a force of habit. The one thing that really started to bother me people would say oh you are losing too much weight or you don’t need surgery. I weighed almost 300 pounds last year. No one knows how much weight you need to lose your body will let you know and I realize that ninety pounds it alot ofw weight to lose but I was on alot of medicine and I was miserable. Celebrate her sucess because women can be hater, I was a hater until I stopped making excuses about my weight and prayed and got busy. It starts in the heart and being determined to stay focused.

Nicole on

FYI Annette…Weight Watchers is not the same as diets like Jenny Craig. There is no food to buy. It’s a points based system (or you can do their other option-still no WW food to buy). You can eat whatever you want on WW, it’s all about portion control. That’s what the points system teaches you. That’s why Weight Watchers is the most successful plan out there.

However, with regard to Ms Hudson’s weight loss…I could look like that too if I had access to a personal trainer. All of the interviews she has given about her weight loss she discusses her trainer. Not all of us normal people can afford such luxuries.

Kt d on

WW doesn’t provide meals. You eat regular food and keep track of points. Just wanted Annette to know…

AL on

She looks great. However, the adjective “svelte” is not correct.

aja on

yeah she looks great. but what are those on her legs….

Frenchie on

Geez … I think Annette gets it already. She has already responded to everyones comments. Why does everyone keep rehashing the same old nonsense?

I’m with you Angela~ WTF is up with her legs? Opaque hose is needed when your legs are beat up!

p.s. Weight Watchers does work, but it is a science diet and it will not work for everyone. It did not work for me, but South Beach sure did! As with any program/diet- it’s all about moderation and hydration!

Natalie on

Annette,
Do your research before you start hating on lifestyle changes that do work, first off Jenny Craig is about learning how to eat in portion control, and what you need to eat each day to be healthy and they teach you how to go off of their food and continue with it with normal everyday food you cook yourself. Their food is not magic its just portioned with the right fats, fibers, carbs, proteins, veggies, and fruits doesnt have any magic potion in it to make you lose weight and it helps you to see the size of food portions you should be eating,as well as what is involved in that portion, its a great visual guide. Sometimes people have a hard time knowing what to eat even in portions so Jenny just makes it easier that way by doing it for you at first and teaching you along the way on how to do it for yourself after. Having said that Weight watchers also teaches portion control and as well as what you need to put into your body everyday to one lose the weight and two keep it off. They are both great programs, and if you go on them and you cant follow them than thats an issue you need to deal with not the people who succeed on them, and if working out and portion control worked for you then good for you but dont knock down what has worked for others, like Sara Rue and Jennifer Hudson. And if she gains 5 to 10 pounds back so what ? its not hurting her or you , and everyone fluctuates an average of 2.5 to 5 pounds a month pending hormones, weather changes, and time of year! if they are at a healthy BMI for their height and stay in that range then its totally fine, you can relapse on what your doing just like anyone else can , but if you make the decision to change your life , then its not a diet its a lifestyle change, unfortunately in this world people want it all for free, fast, and without working for it, and if you have issues with weight and food, it wont just go away , so Sara and Jenn are doing what they can to change their life and they both found something that worked for them so stop knocking it just cause it didnt work for you, and something else did ! this is the problem with this world, no one wants to help others, they want to tear them down , they were torn down for their weight, and now being torn down for how they are losing it or if they lost too much, how about supporting them instead of having an opinion of how they should have lost it or if they lost too much ?

Jen on

Wow Annette, you are dumb… you can eat whatever food you want on WW… its not like nutrisystem or jenny craig with pre-packaged meals… they sell them at the grocery store, but the program teaches portion control and smart foods… so it sounds like essentially you did WW too!!! stop judging people and read more!!!

You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and outlined out the entire thing with no need side-effects , folks can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thank you
