Did Kathie Lee Fudge Her Weight on ‘Today’?

Frank Micelotta/Getty

Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford made a brave move on Monday as they took to the airwaves to share information that many women fiercely guard: their weight and age. To get the skinny on Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee’s Today show reveal, PEOPLE spoke with Kotb at the Self magazine Women Doing Good awards on Tuesday in New York, where she confirmed that their on-air age revelation was in fact accurate. “She said she was 57 and I say I’m 46, which is true. You can figure it out,” said Kotb. “But the weight was on the honor system! She revealed hers as 129 [lbs],” she added. “Now you know there is some jiggling going on the scale, some shifting: just the idea that it didn’t tip over into the 130s. I honestly said I weigh 146 [lbs], which was painful to say, but there it is, I said it. And people were, like, 146? Girl, turn around…let me see.” That said, Kotb pointed out that there is a significant height difference between the two hosts. “She’s 5-ft. 5-in.” said explained. “She’s actually small…I’m 5-ft. 9-in.” Wearing buttons on-air that were emblazoned with their ages had more of an impact than Kotb said had expected. “I thought it would just be one of those things where you say it, and move on. But people were like, 46, huh?” And I said, “There went half the dating pool… just dried up in five seconds when you say the number 46.” Tell us: Would you be brave enough to reveal your age and weight on television? –Jeffrey Slonim

Burberry Brings In Star-Studded Front Row

Yui Mok/PA Photos/Abaca

It might have been a sporty front row, with tennis stars Serena Williams and Andy Murray seated next to Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung and up-and-coming actor/model Douglas Booth, but the outfits were anything but. In fact, Christopher Bailey’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection for Burberry Prorsum could possibly have been his most luxe yet. The traditional Burberry trench was given a modern makeover with biker-chic detailing like leather sleeves, while cropped biker jackets came in decadent snakeskin and striking patent leather—a change from Bailey’s modest collections of previous seasons. British model Booth, who stars in the current Burberry campaign with Emma Watson told PEOPLE: “That was epic!” While backstage congratulating Bailey, he added, “There were really big, bold pieces, lots of studs. It was very rock ‘n’ roll.” Williams, in a olive green satin Burberry dress, could barely contain her excitement telling PEOPLE: “That was so amazing–better than any show I have ever been to!” Other front row guests included Cat Deeley and actor Aaron Paul as well as Mario Testino and Anna Wintour. Those who didn’t manage to get one of the much coveted tickets to what has become the highlight of London Fashion Week, might have been lucky enough to watch the show from one of 25 stores around the world, streaming the show in real time. Those very lucky shoppers could even purchase items straight from the catwalk via a custom-built app on the iPad. Now that’s something worth getting excited about! –Monique Jessen

VIDEO: Go Inside Bethenny Frankel’s Closet

Curious about what stylish staples Bethenny Frankel has hanging in her designer-filled wardrobe? In the latest installment of Bluefly.com‘s Closet Confessions, the Bethenny Getting Married? star takes you inside her walk-in and shares some of her favorite go-to items. And from a sharp one-button tomato-red blazer that makes you “look like the kind of person that lives in Hermes and wears only gold jewelry in the south of France,” says Frankel in this teaser clip, to a crimson button-front dress, the sassy reality star seems to have a touch of scarlet fever. But the real key to Bethenny’s personal style? Tailoring. “I would tailor my underwear,” she says in the full video. Famous for her feisty personality, Bethenny is also not above poking fun at the sartorial style of fellow Housewives castmate, Kelly Bensimon. “This would be Kelly because it is a shirt,” she says in her Closet Confession, holding up a short metallic getup. Shia LaBeouf’s Sartorial Style Secrets from ‘Wall Street’ Sequel

Lucas Jackson/Landov

Thanks to costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, who created the bespoke wardrobe for Wall Street and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, men everywhere can get inspired to look sleek and powerful —or at least buy the right ties and shirts! Whether or not he can afford them, of course, is another question entirely. PEOPLE caught up with Mirojnick on the red carpet at the film’s N.Y.C. premiere on Monday night, where she shared some of the style secrets to power dressing—starting with where Shia LaBeouf’s character got his killer ties. “A lot of Shia’s ties came from Hermes,” she told PEOPLE. “Everything else was custom-built for all the principles.” As for the sensational shirts with the really tall collars? “Anto of Beverly Hills is the shirtmaker I used. As for the collars, I go for the right proportion for the man. Bespoke is the way to go when you have so much money.” Also on the red carpet? Actor Josh Brolin, who grabbed Mirojnick and whispered that he loved the maroon jacket that he wears in the film. “The jacket was custom made for Josh. It was deep maroon silk and worsted sport jacket,” explained Mirojnick. And Michael Douglas’s look? “Michael was a banished wizard to begin with in this film, and then we had to build him into [Gordon] Gekko, so it was big, bold and better. It was all custom. The first time we see him as Gekko, he shows up in a Blue Tonic worsted three-piece double breasted suit. Gorgeous.” Tell us: Are you looking forward to seeing the film? –Jeffrey Slonim

Would You Wear Flyaway Hair Like Jessica Biel?

Ramey

Last season might have been all about structured waves that referenced screen-siren glamour, but this autumn it’s soft, slightly mussed hair that’s poised to be all the rage in Hollywood. Stars like Jessica Biel have already wholeheartedly embraced the trend, going beyond tousled locks and taking their coifs deep into the flyaway zone. We can’t deny that we’re pretty excited about the bed-head style–particularly since it lets us stop trying to tame every errant strand–but we can’t help but wonder if it would work as well in real life as it does on the red carpet. We want to know your take on the look. Tell us: Would you wear mussed hair like Jessica? Vote below!
