Jennifer Hudson: ‘I Lost 20 More Pounds!’

Since she revealed her amazing body transformation in April, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson has lost an additional 20 lbs. “I didn’t expect to go as far as I did!” the Weight Watchers spokesperson told PEOPLE in New York City, where she launched the Lose for Good campaign, which teaches families how to prepare healthy low-cost meals in an effort to help fight hunger and obesity. “People are like, ‘Okay Jennifer don’t lose anything else!’” Hudson, who marked her 29th birthday on Sept. 12, still hasn’t gotten used to seeing her slimmer reflection in the mirror. “I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and I’m like [she looks over both shoulders] ‘Who are you trying to talk to?’” says the former size 16 star. “My mind hasn’t caught up yet.” But no matter what, “I’ve always been a person who’s comfortable with myself whether it’s plus-size, small size it doesn’t matter,” says Hudson. –Michelle Tan

Newest ‘Gossip Girl’ Katie Cassidy Builds Her Fashion Cred

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, who recently expressed interest in starting her own clothing line, already has one customer waiting in the wings: New costar Katie Cassidy! “I’d buy it,” the actress told PEOPLE at W magazine’s September issue celebration at N.Y.C.’s Saks Fifth Avenue on Tuesday. “She has really good taste. I think she‘d be a great designer.” In the meantime, Cassidy will continue to admire her castmate’s killer wardrobe, telling PEOPLE, “I’ve seen her closet. It’s pretty amazing! She has some really good clothing.” Since joining television’s most stylish cast, the former Melrose Place star has begun to develop some major fashion cred of her own, sitting front row at Diane von Furstenberg and Jason Wu alongside style stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Diane Kruger during New York Fashion Week. And it’s paying off: Gossip Girl’s newest starlet shone in at the Saks event in a gold Diane von Furstenberg shift dress with an Alice + Olivia cardigan, and credited the CW hit for its fashion influence. “I’m learning about fashion and I find myself knowing more about what I should wear. Liv Tyler Dishes on Her Surprisingly Cool Chess Player Co-Star

Chess prodigy Magnus Carlsen became a Grandmaster at age 13, and at age 19, he’s not only ranked as the world’s number one player, but he’s also taking on the fashion industry—co-starring in the latest G-Star Raw ads with Liv Tyler and sharing the red carpet with the Hollywood beauty during New York Fashion Week. “She’s nice,” said Magnus of the actress, who showed off her signature rocker-chic style in one of her favorite pairs of G-Star Raw jeans at the brand’s spring 2011 collection in N.Y.C. on Tuesday. “I’ve been wearing them about a year,” said Liv, who admitted that after doing sit-down interviews all afternoon, the back end of her jeans had acquired a “lowish, saggy butt.” And when it came to her denim co-model Magnus, she had nothing but praise. “First of all he’s such a bad ass. I said, ‘You’re a bad MF’,” explained Liv, who not only fronts G-Star’s campaign but also serves as a muse for the brand‘s newest collection. “He had never modeled before ever in his life. We were on a roof in Miami and it was 110 degrees. And he came out and was calm and just stood there and [Tyler scowls with attitude]” and I was, like, “Magnus. . . Wow!”’ And does the chess star, wearing the company’s denim head-to-toe, like G-star? “I’m not a fashion expert,” says Magnus. “But I’m really comfortable in their clothes.” –Jeffrey Slonim

Earlier this month, Megan Fox teased us in a quick clip of an Armani Underwear Ad , which ends just as the former Transformer star—dressed in a lacy bra and barely covered by a white robe—closes the door on the cameras. But in, “The Tip,” a brand new short film posted by Armani.com today, Megan brings us inside her hotel room, where she seductively and not-so-secretly dresses up her delicates before a very curious male hotel worker, who takes his time preparing the sultry model’s meal. We don’t want to give it away, but from Megan’s sultry bedhead to her stylish lingerie, this sizzling commercial definitely takes our breath away. Hilary Swank’s Fashion Week Mission: ‘I Have a lot of Dresses I Need to Find’

Though best known for her daring fashion choices–who can forget the backless Guy Laroche at the 2005 Oscars?–Hilary Swank looked classically beautiful in sparkling Pamella Roland at the designer’s Spring 2011 presentation. “I’ve just been introduced to Pamella and I’m excited to always learn about new designers,” she admitted. “I have a movie opening called Conviction next month so I have a lot of dresses I need to find.” Pamella’s new collection of textured gowns in navy, stark white and gunmetal tones with stunning details like bejeweled belts and scalloped sweetheart necklines will certainly provide the actress with a plethora of options. As for her ethereal Fashion Week look, however, the choice was simple: “I just thought that this was a nice end-of-summer, beginning-of-fall dress…It still felt light. Kelly Bensimon: ‘I’d Rather Wear Skinny Pants Than Show My Boobs’

It may be fall, but the Real Housewives of New York City star isn’t giving up her short-shorts just yet. Kelly Bensimon turned up at the Alice + Olivia party last night during New York Fashion Week showing off her famous gams in cool shorts and an easy shirt from the label. “This is my version of fall,” Bensimon told PEOPLE. And though Kelly might be hanging on to her leg-baring style for now, when the temperature starts to plunge, the sexy Housewife admits that she’ll be trading in her hot pants for skinny jeans. “I’m really liking skinny jeans and white shirts,” she says. “I love the idea of the big, oversized shirt and skinny jeans and sky-high shoes. I want to be really, really comfortable this fall, but I want to be smokin’ sexy, too.” And for Kelly, that means keeping it covered. “I’d rather wear skinny pants than show my boobs.
