EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Zoe and Brad Goreski Calling It Quits — Amicably

“Bananas!” Celeb stylist Rachel Zoe and her bow-tie clad assistant Brad Goreski have sadly decided to go their separate ways, effective Oct. 1. “I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know,” Goreski, 33, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.” Breaking the news to Zoe about a month ago was nothing short of “major.” “We couldn’t stop hugging and we couldn’t stop crying,” she says. “He did this with such class and elegance. And I get it. I just told him, ‘I’m here for you always.’” Goreski is counting on that. “I hope she’ll continue to teach me more and more,” he says. And while the dynamic duo’s frenzied pace has been constant fodder for Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project, filling Goreski’s designer shoes will be no easy feat. “We have a relationship that’s not normal. I jump into bed with him and wake him up and we have these pow wows and he’s like, ‘Wow, I haven’t brushed my teeth,’” Zoe says. “I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. There are stories abound here with a different story to tell. I’ve seen that Brad just gave up and was so tired of all the work and I agree. He was used up by Rachel. I don’t mean that in a horrific way. It seems that she is so obsessive and is high energy all the time. I think she believes that everyone should be the same way. Nobody can keep up that pace forever. It doesn’t work.
I love the show. Rachel is so driven and it’s time to stop. She needs help to understand that she isn’t just killing herself. She is killing the people around her including her husband. The marriage is really in a bad place right now. It’s not that he doesn’t love her. But her first love is her work and nobody wants to take second place.
It’s all very sad really.
Miss Zoe will eventually snap or her health will just give out. I hope she can get the help she needs before that happens. There are so many issues from her past and present that need to be addressed NOW !

Being that I have watched every episode from the beginning, and being one of THE GAYS I am really sad to see Brad go. I even liked Taylor to a point,and miss her also.Brad no doubt will have know problem finding work, but rachel is gonna have a tough time finding such an entertaining associate. Just saying.
