Kelly Osbourne Blames Mom Sharon for Her Mustache

Despite her recent breakup, it seems Kelly Osbourne has not lost her sense of humor. Looking happy and healthy, the slender star chats up host George Lopez on Lopez Tonight about her family’s original unscripted family drama The Osbournes, her stint on Dancing with the Stars and a somewhat inconvenient beauty secret. Donning a skin-tight black dress and sky-high platforms for Monday night’s episode, the platinum starlet giggles while relaying the story of how mom Sharon once accidentally burned her teen daughter’s upper lip with an at-home waxing kit.  “I was the crash test dummy,” Kelly divulges. “The wax was so hot that it burned me. That was a really dumb statement. Sharon was waxing her BECAUSE she had a mustache. Hair growth is controlled by heredity and hormones. Kelly just got older and now has to wax like millions of women. After all this time, it would not have grown back bristly. She didnt shave it afterall. Cant believably blame mom for this one!

I saw Kelly on that Joan Rivers red carpet show, ya know, the one where Joan and a panel voice their opinion of who was hot and who was not on the red carpet. Anyway I was very impressed by how well spoken Kelly is. I am sure the British accent helps, but still she is a very charming and lovely young woman and I wouldn’t mind at all if one of my boys came home with a girl like Kelly.

As a woman who suffers from hirsutism caused by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome I have to say the “unsightly body hair” description used by the article writer is very hurtful.

Millions of women struggle with the emotional distress this disease causes, including higher rates of infertility & miscarriage, diabetes and heart disease along with the proliferation of body hair from higher levels of testosterone.
