It looks like Eva Longoria Parker, Penélope Cruz and Beyoncé will need to make a little room, as award-winning actress Julianna Margulies joins their ranks as the newest face of L’Oréal Paris. “I remember the first time I heard [“Because You’re Worth It”]. I was young, and I said to myself, ‘When I have money, I will buy beautiful products and feel I’m worth it,’” The Good Wife actress tells WWD. And years later that dream has come true in grander reality than she envisioned, with her own deal representing the brand’s RevitaLift skincare line. As for the feature that got Julianna the coveted gig? “I always have considered my skin [my best beauty asset] because I got lucky: I have small pores,” the 44-year-old actress says. “I am also very pale so I have stayed out of the sun most of my life.” Julianna’s ads will debut next year in a print and television campaign. It’s Not A Lack Of Race Of Here
By D.K. Milgrim-Heath©2010
It’s not a lack of race here-
L’Oreal is really clear.
Different races are represented-
For beauty worth’s truly complimented.
Each of us are born many a different shade-
Be happy with your birth skin born that’s made.
A child can have a skin tone so different from their parents you see.
No one has that color but a person’s still one’s blood in a family.
Because so many people can’t appreciate-
Does skin color change our souls at any rate?
Be thankful for all our blessings by whom you really are-
Just be beautiful inside and out all the way by far.
