Last season might have been all about structured waves that referenced screen-siren glamour, but this autumn it’s soft, slightly mussed hair that’s poised to be all the rage in Hollywood. Stars like Jessica Biel have already wholeheartedly embraced the trend, going beyond tousled locks and taking their coifs deep into the flyaway zone. We can’t deny that we’re pretty excited about the bed-head style–particularly since it lets us stop trying to tame every errant strand–but we can’t help but wonder if it would work as well in real life as it does on the red carpet.
