Thanks to costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, who created the bespoke wardrobe for Wall Street and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, men everywhere can get inspired to look sleek and powerful —or at least buy the right ties and shirts! Whether or not he can afford them, of course, is another question entirely. PEOPLE caught up with Mirojnick on the red carpet at the film’s N.Y.C. premiere on Monday night, where she shared some of the style secrets to power dressing—starting with where Shia LaBeouf’s character got his killer ties. “A lot of Shia’s ties came from Hermes,” she told PEOPLE. “Everything else was custom-built for all the principles.” As for the sensational shirts with the really tall collars? “Anto of Beverly Hills is the shirtmaker I used. As for the collars, I go for the right proportion for the man. Bespoke is the way to go when you have so much money.” Also on the red carpet? Actor Josh Brolin, who grabbed Mirojnick and whispered that he loved the maroon jacket that he wears in the film. “The jacket was custom made for Josh. It was deep maroon silk and worsted sport jacket,” explained Mirojnick. And Michael Douglas’s look? “Michael was a banished wizard to begin with in this film, and then we had to build him into [Gordon] Gekko, so it was big, bold and better. It was all custom. The first time we see him as Gekko, he shows up in a Blue Tonic worsted three-piece double breasted suit. Gorgeous.” Tell us: Are you looking forward to seeing the film? –Jeffrey Slonim

Why was she being coy on the suits? Be helpful and give us the name of the tailor. Many of us get bespoke suits ourselves and I am sure the tailor wouldn’t mind the press either.
