There is no way that was real meat without it turning brown and green from spoilage. And, if it is, shame on her for wasting food like that. I’m not that much of a political person, but I deal with kids who have to skip meals at home because there’s nothing in their cupboards.

The VMAs, bursting to the seams with paparazzi, is one of the biggest purveyors of young meat in the music industry. Only Gaga had the courage to make that point. Boldly, as always. Too bad so many are too dense to get it.

But why don’t you find ways to help fix these problems, rather than just talking about them?

Oh good lord, now people are slamming Lady Gaga for “wasting food”?

Did you know that American families throw away about 25% of the food they buy? It’s been estimated that 96 billion pounds of edible food was wasted by consumers, retailers, and food service businesses–in 1995. That figure has probably doubled since.

Get some perspective people. A handful of strips of meat turned into an outfit is really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If you want to get outraged by wasted food, I suggest you take a good hard look at yourselves and your communities.

Absolutely ridiculous! She is a f@cking idiot! This from someone who actually CAN sing and she still feels the need to pull stunts like this to get attention. People try to compare her to Cher and Cyndi Lauper..not at all! These women were being themselves, Gaga is trying way to hard to be different!

Lady GAGA is great singer and using the outrageous to get publicity to get into the business is not new and her mission was already accomplished. Now that she proved that she can sing and perform, she needs to drop the act and concentrate on becoming a serious and long lasting performer, not just a pop artist of the moment.
We got it, now is time to move on to the next artistic phase.

I am not a vegetarian, but am appalled by the lack of respect shown for the animal who gave up its life so she could shock the world yet again with her outlandish outfits. There was no statement here other than her need to be the center of attention. If she is in fact that incredibly talented, than she should rely on that talent and not the horrendous outfits for her positive reinforcement.

She is constantly states that she is trying to make a statement by the “outfits” that she wears. IMO, it isn’t working!! Like someone else stated in their posts, she is trying to be the center of attention to try to hide the fact that she lacks ANY musical talent. Regardless of her stance on whatever, there are people in this world starving and she is wearing meat to make a statement. Have a little common sense, it isn’t all about you and your point of views.

Being a popstar is about getting press and this little woman knows how that’s done. Once again she has everyone talking about her, and she continues to keep the press talking. Unless the designer had the time and the laboratory to process the flesh so that it would be in a preserved, lacquered state called “plastination” (developed by German scientist Gunther Von Hagens), I don’t believe it’s real meat at all, and I’m surprised that people would actually believe it is. If it were it would have begun rotting, smelling, and stainíng the seats she sat in all evening, not to mention it would have attracted, bugs, flies, and eventually have begun disintegrating, and likely become infested with maggots. People are so gullible it tickles me.

Was she tenderized or marinated?

All of you that think this is crazy, yes it had been done before and all different types of foods not all of them do you see on TV. Think back in the days when humans started wearing clothing others must of thought they where weird, crazy. For century’s people been wearing crazy clothes for one thing or another. Weather it was a poodle skirt, leather jacket, Goth, punk, country, grunge, earrings in different places, colored hair, what ever else is out there, it has been someone before. Our parents thought we where crazy what we wore, and there parents and there parents all the way to the beginning of time. And as for starving people we all waist food from our homes that we all pay for. Just like she did, you all just saw on TV that is the only difference. As for animal rights what about plant rights or insect, they hurt and die the same are you all not going to eat them, hmm maybe eat dirt like Haiti people do, dirt doesn’t die or hurt like living things do. Listen to what she was saying we all are a piece of meat out there; stand up for your rights.

I don’t see the point really, as she is already famous. I guess some celebrities believe they must constantly shock to maintain their stardom. I like Lady Gaga and her music but just wish some celebs would use their fame and influence to promote or advocate more positive things in this world. This is why I don’t idolize celebrities as they are human and I would rather focus on doing good things for the planet and people. Unfortunately, good news whispers while bad news screams.
